Very good stay! I felt like I was a local just enjoying the simple lifez

It’s at the heart of the town, a few mins walk to metro and supermarket. the views are superb!

i found the pillows are very flimsy because i am used to pillows that support my neck. i suggest bring your own small pillow as a support if you’re like me. the breakfast is simple but I dont eat big breakfast anyway.

Cozy Comfortable room with a reasonable price

Room was cozy and comfortable. I took a small single room with shared bathroom just across which I did not need to share as there was no one in the room next door. Breakfast was a great spread consisting of freshly baked bread, jam butter Cheese, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, juice, pastries etc. Location is great - just 8-10 mins from Grindelwald station just off the main road close to restaurants and supermarket. The supermarkets have a great selection of salads and sandwiches. You save quite a bit of money staying here, which can be used to eat out. It was very well priced and a good value for money. Of course there are rules, but I had no problem with them as it meant peaceful stay for everyone. The next time i would probably book a double or twin room

I dont think there was anything I did not like. I respected the rules (no washing clothes n bathroom and no cooking, quiet times) and had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The bed isn't comfortable and the pillow might as well not be there given how thin it is. The owners also repeatedly emphasise all their rules, it was like being at school

I highly doubt you will find anywhere better value for money in Grindelwald than Lehmann’s Herberge!

Outstanding location less than 10min walk from everywhere (Grindelwald train station, First cable car, Co-op supermarket, Tourist info). Unbelievable views from the balcony. Excellent breakfast. Impeccable cleanliness.

This hostel was a great place to stay in Grindelwald, the breakfast was really good with lots of variety and a great coffee machine! The hostel was very quiet which was nice and the views out to the mountains were incredible.

The only thing that was a bit difficult was the lack of kitchen facilities. There is only a kettle and fridge with some cutlery and tea available. No sink or microwave which made it a bit harder in terms of meals, however, to only stay for a few nights we made do with supermarket foods that needed no prep.

The location is good and Mountain View is great. Good breakfast.

1. No hair dryer. The weather in June is already very hot, so even if there is no air conditioning, fans should be provided. 2. Because it was very hot at night, we had to sleep with the window open, but since it was near the mountains, we were bitten badly by small mosquitoes.

Lovely stay at the foot of the Eiger in Grindelwald

The stay at the hostel was lovely. The view of the Eiger from the balcony of the room is breathtaking! And the rural landscape, with the clusters of houses climbing the hills at the foot of the Eiger, is beautiful! The Swiss breakfast is delicious, with fresh bread and produce from the garden. The place is super quiet and you can hear the birds singing at dusk and sunrise. A stay in Grindelwald at the friendly Lehmann's Herberge hostel is unforgettable!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, they recommend places to visit, paths for hiking and local restaurants. The room was clean with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was of good quality. Excellent view!

It was good experience staying this hotel .It is in great location but need to improve there bed little bit uncomfortable and dusty and towel ,otherwise have a good view point no Tv and the charging money for this room doesn’t have enough facilities.I feel expensive .

I highly recommend the Lehmann's Herberge in Grindelwald.

I have really enjoyed my stay with the Lehmann's family. They are very kind, helpful, generous and friendly. The breakfast is excellent ! The traditional swiss rooms (Zimmer) are so so beautiful. All means of comfort are there. The cleanliness is at top level. I highly recommend the Lehmann's Herberge if you are travelling to Grindelwald.

Over all, we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

We were immediately welcomed by the room cleanliness, which was okay for 2 people. The most exciting part is they have a bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. which you could take a quick shower if you get tired while exploring the city. The real kicker was the breakfast, with great spread of fresh fruits, eggs and pastries. There was also a variety of cheeses, cold cuts and great selection of bread. If you're a breakfast person like us, this place for you. I chose this place because of its perfect location. Its a couple minutes away from train, bus station, restaurants and grocery store, which is great because it makes getting around the city is super easy. if you plan on travelling to Grindewald Switzerland, this place is perfect for you. its cozy safe and offers a good value for the money. Plus the owners of the hostel is always super friendly especially Mrs Fraziska Lehmann. Just make sure check the their rules in advance like no late check-in ( 3pm to 9pm only) , no smoking in the room and no phones or taking pictures at breakfast area. Over all, we had a great stay here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a budget-friendly hostel.

We'd like to see a bigger bath soap next time, as we shower a lot. And a lighter quilt or beddings.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the daily breakfasts were exceptional :) The views from our bedroom window were second to none, and the location was great being in the centre of the town but not near any noisy pubs/bars!

The breakfast was very clean and tasty. I can't think of anything that was lacking. The place was really clean and the lady did a good job of cleaning. I think she is like a 'WONDER WOMAN' who works really hard. Above all, the location of the room (with balcony...) facing the north wall of Eiger was great. It was close to the station and in the center of the city, so there was nothing inconvenient. I think it's probably the best place for the price. The owner seemed a bit pushy at first, but she was actually very nice and made us feel comfortable, so there was nothing to complain about. We didn't hear any noise from the neighborhood during our stay. It was very quiet and we were able to get plenty of rest. We were happy and had great memories in Grindelwald.

I can't think of anything that was lacking.

Very nice experience, the hostel is in a very good location, you can see the snow-capped mountains and dreamy hillsides, the hut is very clean, it is cleaned every day, and there is a touch of sandalwood, the breakfast is delicious every day, thanks for the hospitality, let us have a wonderful time Memories 💖
