The location and staff were exceptional. Very welcoming and in a beautiful location - super easy to go and do anything. We even walked straight over the mountain from the house to edale for a pub dinner
It was fairly small which didn’t matter as we didn’t spend much time there but the only thing that would have made it better would have been a slightly bigger bed with a firmer mattress topper as it was quite a small springy bed.

Unexpected jacuzzi bath, much needed after long walk. The host went above and beyond in many aspects of our stay. Great character of a building, many scenic walks nearby, and the host was most knowledgeable. We will be back

Central location with car parking area
Very noisy at night as room backed onto the road that led to the campsite so as to expected. Also neighbouring guests were arguing loudly on both nights with excessive foul language which I guess is out of the owners hands Tea, coffee and milk wasn’t replenished and didn’t like going knocking on owners door to ask for more
