Breakfasts and evening meals very good. Location is excellent.
A minor issue perhaps, but all the toilet seats I have come across are poorly fitted and wobbly.

Excellent food . Both for B'fast & dinner ( & we ate in two other pubs/ hotels too) Good beers on offer & friendly staff. Traditional old pub!
Our 3rd year in a row staying here. A pity the rooms were on the small side but we knew what we were getting. Doesn't put us off staying here

fantastic location, perfect for all the walks, free parking. food amazing. breakfast 10 out of 10. room was clean and spotless and smelt lovely.
noise from the road, but you had ear plugs supplied if needed, but with the window closed was okay. would not stop me returning.

Location is fine on the main road
7 of us and charged for 8 including a breakfast (which wasn't great) - fair enough about the room, but not good that we would never order for more than our number. Rooms very basic with nowhere even for a toothbrush. Bloke running the bar was great but otherwise it was service without a smile
