Cosy and well-equipped retreat in the Peaks

This cosy annexe was perfect for a solo winter retreat in the Peaks. It was very comfortable, warm and well-equipped. I had everything I needed for a 10-day stay. It's a lovely space and right in the heart of the village - the perfect base for walks around Castleton. Lynn was friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place and would happily return myself!

Wonderful place to relax and chill small but perfect for a couple

Fantastic place will definitely go again .Gorgeous decorations has a really cozy warm atmosphere and so peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen no need to eat out but really close to all shops and pubs .Has 2 tvs so perfect for chilling as a couple. Parked right out side brilliant. Lovely host lynne so friendly and kind checking we were ok such a perfect stay.Didnt want to come it was just so relaxing

Excellent stay at Foxgloves.

Had such an excellent stay at Foxgloves. Superb property - the property itself and everything needed for a comfortable and cosy stay is all to a very high standard. Lynn the host is very close by and the property in a lovely settled neighbourhood - Lynn and the neighbours in the area all very warmly welcoming. The location could not be better - the visitor centre and cafes and pubs are all within a few minutes walk - and excellent walking in the surrounding area of course. This was a short stop-over to take in a few days walking whilst on my way to a jazz festival in Scarborough - so glad I chose Foxgloves.

Not being able to stay a few days longer - but the jazz beckoned.

Perfect property for a short break.

Excellent quiet location off the main road. Easy Street parking. Plenty of places to eat and drink 5-10 minutes walk away. Perfect location for walking the hills around Castleton. Full equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean with a comfy bed :)

I have perfume allergies and so the very strong smelling diffuser and the towels were an issue for me

Foxgloves is a lovely little property very handy for all amenities and close to lots of lovely walks

We loved the location very handy for the village of Castletown. It was spotlessly clean and our hostess Lynn was so welcoming and friendly. Everything was spot on lots of lovely finishing touches.

Cosy and clean in a great location

A great location, handy to enjoy Castleton village and its beautiful walks. The apartment is a very clever use of space and is extremely well equipped. Everything is new and sparkly clean! Lynn the host is lovely and was very receptive to some minor niggles.

The wifi signal works but is a bit weak when using the TV. The host said she is attending to this.
