Lovely birthday weekend

Lovely historical cottage in the amazing village of Castleton. Situated right on the edge but close to all pubs and amenities. We had lovely walks and great weather. Perfect 👌🏻

Very cosy perfect cottage, everything you need, beautifully presented in the ideal location. The owners went above and beyond to help us dry our clothes after being drenched on our first day .

Amazing

The location is incredible and the cottage itself is the perfect size for a 2 people. The fact we could bring our dog was an added bonus. The cottage was very well equipped (even had dog blankets, lovely bread and jams) such a welcoming feel and super clean and tidy. Pub just next door plus amazing walks on the doorstep. There is absolutely nothing more we could’ve wanted… amazing. Also, the hosts were super friendly and really helpful. Thank you

Amazing location, didn't need to use car at all. Very clean and comfortable.

Just a minor point the patio steps just a bit steep for our little dog, was just a bit concerned he was going to launch himself off the wall!

Beautiful cottage equipped with everything you need for your stay. Cottage was immaculate and located in the heart of Castleton. Kind and friendly host who let us know about local event(s). Dog friendly with dog blankets to cover furniture downstairs.

Fabulous cottage, in a beautiful setting

Couldn't wish for a better place to stay, with lovely hosts. In a good position in the village, with a lovely quiet back yard. The hosts clearly like to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable. There was a loaf of bread and jam waiting on the kitchen table, and pint of milk in the fridge. Bedroom was very large with a comfortable oversize bed. Kitchen has everything you need and is again large. The lounge feels like home, and is extremely comfortable. I can't recommend this cottage enough! Worth paying a visit to the Peak Hotel for food, not overpriced and plenty of it.

Great little escape

Great location, had everything we needed to beat our January blues. Lovely touches such as fresh bread, jam, butter and milk on arrival. Beautifully decorated and full of comforts. Would highly recommend!!
