A beautiful room in a beautiful village in a beautiful valley. Sums it up really. A little over an hour by bus from Sheffield to the village of Castleton and to the door of the Four Seasons. The owners were very communicative and accommodating. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed. Well appointed and with a lovely view. It was overlooking the main road but the noise wasn’t bad at night. Hiking roots were wonderful from the village. Also a number of quint shops and lovely pubs to eat and relax in.

Fresh milk for making tea! WiFi. Very nice laid back host.
This is a small problem, I could not work out how to open the bathroom window (but I didn't bother asking)

Centre of village so perfect for hiking. Huge bedroom. Super comfortable bed with great bedding and towels. Lots of tea and coffee with fresh milk. Kind host.
On the road so earplugs would help
