We had problems to do the check in because the automatic machine didn’t recognise our booking and hat to wait for almost one hour until a receptionist open the building and helped us with processing of the check in

We were not able to sleep correctly due to the power outage

There was a power outage in the hotel so all occupants were woken up at 5pm to behold to leave the doors open to be able to exit in the morning. It was extremely noisy and uncomfortable

The receptionist doesn't speak a single word in English. Words like WiFi, Password and Internet were from another world. The bathroom smells bad. There was no soap in the bathroom.

It is a budget hotel which does what it says on the tin but no ‘bells and whistles’.

Fantastic location just off the motorway. Staff kind and helpful. Air conditioning worked.

It is very dated and our room nothing like the marketing photos on Booking.com - plain, white, some mould on sealant around shower. Loose electrical socket on the wall which was a risk given we were travelling with a toddler.

Very convenient for an overnight stop half way between Channel ports and the French Med. Comfortable. Staff pleasant and reception was still open at 9.45pm. Breakfast was simple but adequate

Dissapointed. Less than basic accomodation.

What was advertised as a "family room" was in reality just a standard double room with an added single bed. It was very cramped and the added bed - which was intended to be a child's bed - was right next to all the plugs in the room so it felt very unsafe. On top of that the bathroom lock and doorhandle were broken.

The duvets were way too thick. We were really too hot during the night. I removed the duvet from the sheet. That way it was much better. Of course this is personal. Another maybe liked the thick hot duvets.

Perfect basic hotel for a one night stop over

The adjoining rooms allowed us and our three children to have plenty of space. Normally as a family of 5 we really struggle to get somewhere that we can all be together, so we would definitely consider this as a stopover again purely for this. The F1 novelty was very entertaining. The location was perfect, just off the motorway (ideal for the road trip we were on) but very close to the town for restaurants etc. Very friendly staff. Comfortable enough beds for a one night stop over.

The shower was intermittently hot and cold, the room wasn't air conditioned so whilst a fan was supplied, in the summer it was very hot for sleeping. The breakfast was basic enough, croissants, drinks & cereal. Not necessarily a negative but just something to be aware of. The hotel is somewhat run down, there were damp mould patches in the bathroom and peeling paint. Not the end of the world and totally fine for a one night stop over but just something to be aware of.
