A nice stay

Lovely owners. Nice breakfast. Very quiet. Communicating in different languages. Thankfully we were fluent in Google Translate. Private and secure parking. Owner is an artist and let us visit his studio. Close to motorway.

The bathroom had a bath but no shower cubicle. Not a great problem, just a preference.

Chambre d'hôtes Legros a gem

What a nice, warm welcome you get from the owners and what a nice cozy place to be at when you are travelling. In my case I stayed there as in between stops from Amsterdam to Toulouse and it was realy worth it! Nice paintings await you as well, as one of the owners is a painter 😁😁 all and all a little gem! Just a tip, bring cash with you as they dont use/accept cards and they only speak French, which adds to the charm but you can use Google translate or any translation app.

The city if Vierzon is not realy very interesting, but that is only my opinion. Internet and WIFI did not work very well @the house to not at all, so if you can go without for a few hours its all ok 😁

Very welcoming hosts that gave a great dinner restaurant recommendation. Accommodating to our delayed arrival upon check-in. Comfortable bed in a warm and cosy room surrounded by impressive artwork. Tasty breakfast with excellent fresh baguette, croissants, pain au chocolat and home made jams. Cute living room space. Would recommend

A lovely stay with very welcoming hosts

Gérard and Marie are lovely hosts and very welcoming and very happy to chat. Gérard was able to book a restaurant for us as it was a Sunday evening when most restaurants were closed. They provided a lovely breakfast with fresh patisserie, bread, homemade jam, yoghurt and cheese.

Everything was fine for us.

Enjoyable overnight stay with friendly people. Would recommend.

Proprietors very friendly, gave us a drink on arrival and were happy for us to prepare our meal in the evening and use the microwave, frig etc. Gerard showed us around his art studio and round their garden, which was superb and very picturesque, lovely to take photographs. Their swimming pool is very well maintained so take your cossies! The breakfast was good, plenty to eat and everything was very fresh.

The only disadvantage for me was the bath, as other reviewers state. Much prefer a shower but to be fair, I knew the situation when I booked. If you are not too flexible and not able to get out of a bath easily, give this one a miss.

Great stopover

Welcoming and very friendly owners. A traditional older style very French property with the owners paintings displayed all around. Self contained annex with kitchen (use of fridge / kettle etc) and lounge downstairs, bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Secure parking in garden. We had a great swim in the large warm and clean covered swimming pool. Sat by the pond in garden for snacks and drinks in the evening. Comfy bed, great sleep. Excellent breakfast with croissants, pain au chocolate, bread, cheese, yoghurts, jam, coffee etc set up by owners for time required on the table in annex. Perfect for stopover for us on way back to UK, or on way down south. Vierzon centre is close by if needed with shops, restaurants, river/canal walks etc.

Watch you head upstairs if you are tall. No shower due to space/headroom upstairs, but no problem sitting in bath. Shower near the pool if you have to stand up to wash!

Delightful welcome - a very comfortable stay.

We enjoyed a delighful, friendly, warm welcome from the hosts, who gave us a very much appreciated drink, and made us (and our dog) feel totally at home. They also booked us a table for our evening meal at a restaurant (also very good indeed) in the town centre, for which we were very grateful. Our room was simply, but very comfortably furnished, and included an ensuite bath. We also used the covered swimming pool in the garden, which was a real joy and bonus after a long day's drive in the car. The following morning, breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit juice, bread, pastries, home-made jams, yoghurts and tea/coffee. The Chambres d'hôtes Legros is located in a quiet district of Vierzon, and is ideally situated and easily accessed when travelling on the A20 or A71. There is ample, secure parking adjacent to the accommodation.

Booked here due to the position for a stage of the tour de France. Suited me well

Host were so nice! Room was huge. Had access to a kitchen and a lounge. The swimming pool was exceptional. Had a lovely breakfast. Host recommended a place to eat in the very pretty town centre, booked me a table as the tour de france was in town, and it was so worth it. And let me leave my car with them until after the race had left!

Convenient and comfortable overnight

A warm welcome from the French-speaking hosts who were very patient with our limited language skills. They kindly booked us a table in the only restaurant open on a Sunday evening in Vierzon and greeted us with an orange juice on arrival. A comfy bed, heating (which we needed as there was a cold snap) and plenty of hot water plus a great breakfast were all very welcome.

Une étape sur la route des vacances.

Nous avons pu garer notre véhicule à l'intérieur de la propriété , ce qui est appréciable. Nous avons également profité de la grande piscine couverte. Nos hôtes nous ont permis d'utiliser les petits équipements de cuisine de la pièce commune et nous avons pu dîner sur place et regarder la télé dans le salon. Petit-déjeuner à la française correct.

La salle de bain sous combles n'est pas très adaptée pour les personnes grandes. Nous avons trouvé le matelas très dur. Les hôtes sont très présents.

Er hat den Zeitgeist von heute in seiner Dramatik und auch seiner Schönheit in seinen Gemälden festgehalten und wie er diese Welt sieht…mit Tiefen Botschaften an die Menschen unserer Zeit…

Der schmale Hohlweg zur Unterkunft , man kann auch von „ oben“ heranfahren, wie wir am nächsten Tag erfuhren
