Good breakfast. Needed an extra pillow each would’ve been good but sleep ok. Bathroom had a hint of smell of damp, couldn’t see any. Room did the job though and would recommend

Good basic hotel on the edge of the main city area, but very close to the station. Good location for the Pompidou Centre Metz.

Unfortunately, our experience did not match the previous reviews. While the rooms appeared clean and tidy at first glance, there was a moldy, musty smell coming from the bathroom. The sheets appeared laundered, with a stain on one pillowcase. With the mold emitting from the bathroom, sleeping in this hotel would have made me sick. They require payment upfront at check in, before we saw the room, so we had already paid. We attempted to resolve the issue with the hotel, but were unsuccessful. While the clerk was kind, he said he could not provide a new room because they were sold out. And he indicated he could not provide a refund because I paid my credit card. We left the hotel and did not stay the night. I have emailed the management email for a resolution or refund, but have not yet received a response. My lesson in this case and advice to you, ask to view the room before you pay.

The hotel is in good conditions. For a 2 star I think it has everything it needs : nice rooms, WiFi, nice staff, elevator that works, hot water and nice a view.

As you can see Metz station just down the road from the hotel room, it is clearly well-located when travelling by train. The selected room was quite large and clean and tidy on arrival. Breakfast is a real bargain (especially compared with other hotels of a similar category) and had an excellent choice of drinks and breakfast foods and anything else you require can be found at the station

The gentleman at the front desk was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, he gave me valuable suggestions on my trips. He offered to keep my snacks in the fridge ( none at the room). The room has basic features, clean.

Closed to train station, not far from flixbus station. Can borrow hair dryer at reception. During my stay it was a hot day, no air con and if I open the window, it’s quite noisy and mosquitoes go in the room. Keep sweating. But for a night stay it’s a alright.

I hadn't booked anything in advance, booked this hotel after arriving in Metz via mobile phone. I chose it because of price and location. The room was OK, bathroom fine. Everything seemed a bit old, but it worked, was clean, and matched the price.

My original choice hotel was closed / sold by Accor Hotels, so I was offered the Bristol. The Bristol is derectly across the street from the rail station where I arrived and after picking up my rental car was able to park at the station overnight for two nights. The staff was great and although I had limited interaction with them because of my touring schedule, they were helpful and personable.

This hotel is good for its price. I stayed 4 nights in a standard twin room which has a bathroom with tub, a window to small street, a desk with chair, LCD TV, two closets and side tables for both beds. Hotel itself is quite old but the room was quite spacious. However, in the bathroom I could smell the fungus a little bit. It took about 10 minutes to get to the old town (Plaza Republique) and 1 minute to the Metz station. Staffs are very kind. Comparing with other hotels with similar price, this hotel is still a good choice although there're many bad comments in the past, especially before 2013.

I wasn't sure what to expect after some of the reviews but I thought it was wonderful. It was a bit dated but that didn't bother me and I loved the giant windows. Not too far to walk to the sights and just a minutes walk from the train station.
