Everything was perfect for what we needed

Excellent view over Llandudno, superb location near Happy Valley, delicious breakfast, pleasant corner to bring our dinner, lovely old house. No lift, but we knew this. However, no in-room safe, only one key for 2 of us (and we'd booked a room for 3!) even though we asked. When we asked for more water- staff claimed manager was too busy, then that he was on a flight somewhere, then that they didn't have another water bottle in the entire hotel; no real sense of customer service.

Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, it couldn't have been bettered at all. The room had a lovely sea view from one side and on the other side we could see the mountain goats on the Orme. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean although we could clearly see quite a few long hairs on the carpet. The bathroom was quite chilly but we were there in cold and stormy weather. The room amenities were very good, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and a second heater (which came in handy as we placed it near the bathroom). The hotel is a five minute walk to the centre and even closer to the pier. The position of it is excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has great views in a quiet corner of Llandudno a short walk from the town centre. The decor is old-fashioned and charming, however some of the fixtures in the room do show their age. Everything was really clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and accommodating of vegetarians. On street parking across from the hotel was not a problem though it probably is quite tight in high season. I’d recommend earplugs as the walls are quite thin, our neighbours weren’t very considerate and had the TV up late into the night which was quite loud, however that is to be expected in an old building like this. Overall a very lovely stay.

Arrived during storm Claudia absolutely soaked and freezing, had to wait 10 mins to check in, even though it was booked and paid in advance and nobody else was waiting. We found ourselves on the the second floor in an extremely cold room with one small radiator turned down and hidden behind a chest of drawers. The en-suite room was even colder with the wind howling through a draughty widow causing the door to keep blowing open and banging (we had to wedge it shut to try and get warm. The en-suite electric radiator was turned off and even when I found the switch and put it on it didn’t make any difference as the room was so cold. The food was good and the breakfast staff helpful but the parking was poor on the steep road outside and not always available. Not 4 star accommodation.

Perched high up on a hill, Headlands Hotel has a spacious/clean family room with a Sea View to die for. Katie I think thats her name, had her hands full serving a delightful breakfast to all her guests..(Well Done). Llandudno has a lot to offer which includes the Headlands and all of its staff. Had a really nice time at the hotel. Nice staff, tasteful decor. Stayed in the double room with a sea view on the top floor, was blown away by the view, especially at night. Fantastic breakfast in the morning too. Top stay, all round.

We loved the family room, which had a sea view. We were on the top floor, but there was no lift. Breakfast is excellent. Hotel is lovely, with a sea view lounge which has a few board games. The only draw backs are that there are no lifts and the decor needs redoing. Neither affected pur happy stay.

I couldn’t fault this hotel, we was only there 1 night but it was perfect for us, we had top floor room with good views it’s a short walk to the pier and local Main Street with all the restaurants and bars so I’ve no complaints and the breakfast had plenty of choices and the full English hit the spot after a day and night on the beer :-)

The property was very tired and needed a real makeover. In addition, we ordered two bedrooms with baths but when we arrived, one bedroom only had a shower. When we complained, we were simply told there were none with baths available!!! However the breakfasts were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a really enjoyable stay here, location is excellent, there is a hill which is quite steep so for those who struggle be warned. The views are suberb and the hotel has little nooks with window seats where you can soak in the views dotted around along with outside patios to do the same. It is dated but that adds to the charm i have to say our room was very clean despite the age. Furniture is in keeping with the style of the hotel which added to the charm. Breakfast was excellent and served efficiently to a full dining room. Plenty on offer, cereals, cooked, croissants, continental, fruit and yoghurt and the staff chatted easily with guests. A full house when we stayed but there was no noise and it was nice to see families making the most of the communal area using the board games and reading the books that were available Friendly and helpful staff Will definitely stay here again Thank you for an enjoyable visit

Hotel was a little dated but clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The view from our room was lovely right across the bay. However we were in a family room on the third floor, and were a little anxious that the windows were so easily opened as we had a small child with us. We would have liked to be able to lock them for safety. Also a towel rail at child height in the bathroom would have been helpful for our little one.

my self my wife also daughter arrived at the beautiful headlands hotel Llandudno we couldn't believe how beautiful in side and i read the reviews of there stay my self my wife also daughter had a boss stay we love the one bed room was excellent spotless one double bed one single bed two chairs one table on suite bathroom shower free tea coffee hot chocolate yes its traditional in the few floors you have walk go inside your room but my wife loved it she sat in conservatory place just read her book my daughter love the whole place staff were amazing bar on site dinning is beautiful food is excellent we had fantastic stay

Great views , location, breakfast was good and the staff were nice. Quite private. The parking was a big challenge. The 5 spots for parking were very difficult and if you parked in the 3 at the back you would have to jockey the cars around to get your own. We parked on the one spot that was left on he road which meant parking on a hill!!! Very challenging to get in and out. Our room was at the very top so if you are fit you are ok but if not it’s a lot of work. No elevators . Difficult to carry bags up there!! But lovely room And excellent views. I’d go there again based on that !!
