The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great, we could bring our dog. The location was peaceful - away from the hordes of the south Lakes. Overall we found our stay very good value for money and would definitely return
We did use and enjoy the pool but it wasn't clear on booking that it was used for school swimming lessons and that access was limited.

We were upgraded to a suite which was superb. Breakfast and evening meal were both delicious. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Lock on room,unstable,difficult to lock.
Decent people no problem etc,so left it unlocked,had no real valubles it was ok.
No standard TV. ,in pub space.(not expecting Sky,but terrestrial TV would v been good,no extra cost😥😏)
Not much around the area,but a lot like that.
The pub facing,no TV. or cask beer there, at least the hotel had decent local pints.
