Le Petit Trianon et Le Charme des Suites

This hotel is in a great spot - handy for shops, bars, restaurants and old Nice. It's a family run hotel, with 4 rooms on one floor of a building. If you're looking for something a bit quirky, this might be for you. One of the curtains isn't quite big enough for one of the windows, the shower is basically in the bedroom, and one day we were left a lemon scented hand wipe in error in place of a tea bag! The person who runs it lives on site and is lovely and very attentive. The room (room 3) was small but clean, nicely furnished/decorated and well-equipped. The balcony was also lovely to have. Be warned it's on the third floor (three flights of stairs) of an old building with no lift! There's also a bit of noise at night from the bars on the next street - so something to be mindful of if you have children. It wasn't an issue for us.

No elevator

Nice little place just outside of Vieux Nice. Easy walk to beach and Old Town. Staff was very kind and always available to help. I had read from other reviews that we would need a code to enter from the street, so I emailed and received prompt reply with code prior to our arrival. Room was small but not too cramped. Bathroom was nice. AC worked great. We would stay here again.

This was a very nice small hotel, which actually consited of 7 rooms on one floor with a small reception area.Our room (5) was very good - nice firm mattress, plenty of space, fridge and safe, small ensuite shower room. Lovely small balcony (overlooking the pedestrian street) with small table and 2 chairs.On the edge of the old town, very convenient.The lady in charge ?owner was very helpful.Wed stay there again, but there are certain caveats which mean it might not suit everyone.1. We arrived by car, but couldnt stop outside to unload, had to go to Etoile carpark a few hundred yards away, and take cases form there. The lady did say something about a carpark, but dont think there was one for this hotel.2. Its on the 3rd floor, up 4 flights of stairs, with no lift. You need to be fit, or have a small amount of luggage only!3. There was no-one there when we arrived (5 pm), but were lucky in that another guest arrived with a code for the door lock. We should have rung ahead, Im sure we would have been given the code, but we were flummoxed for a while!It wouldnt have suited my elderly parents (who wouldnt have made it up the stairs), but if youre a bit younger and fitter its fine.
