The location was perfect…near the flower market which offered a selection of good restaurants and only one block from the beach.
For a 4 star we were disappointed that the room did not have wine glasses although mini bar was stocked with champagne etc. We requested twin beds which were confirmed but not made up when we arrived. No mattress covers on beds. Shame about construction just outside our window. Plus our room was not a renovated premium but a superior double as advertised.

The arrival was really great a lovely young man helped with the luggage...we were a little early and wanted lunch so the recepintist suggested the beach cafe. which was lovely but only able to do a salad..so disappointing...our baggage was in the room which was great. The lift to the 3rd floor had a broken entrance...we rested and went out for dinner. on our return our room keys would not work.. the desk had to get a physical key to open the door and told us that maintence would check that in the morning .. the air conditioning did not work.. Day 2 ..digital keys work.. air conditioning good ..opened the curtains the next morning the curtain rail and curtain fell and hit the coffee machine...and we had no hand soap in the bathroom...a comedy of errors...

Fantastic location, night hotel, very friendly staff.
Nothing to say really! Driving there and parking was a bit if a hassle, but what can you do in a major city!?
