Lovely Hotel in an excellent location to the main train station. Rooms are refurbished but outside passages a bit grotty. New carpets are needed. My room was spacious but the shower was s nightmare. Too small to fit me and I’m not a big man. The temperature was difficult to adjust and I kept scolding myself. Finally I booked a room with a double bed and got 2 single beds joined together with a gap in the middle. Why do some hotels do this? and if they do why not tell the customer or have a mattress topper on top of the mattress. It was uncomfortable. It might be that this is only in my room but it could be like this in other rooms too. Finally the staff were amazing, all very friendly and helpful. Gave me some good eating recommendations thank you

Great location and easy check in. Very convenient to the cruise terminal (walking distance) and all public transportation. The front desk was very helpful in scheduling our taxi to the airport.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Our apartment was really big..and my son was delighted to have his own room. The staff were helpful. The room was serviced every day. The aircon worked well...and it was in a fantastic location. Really clise to the station eith some great bars/restaurants nearby.

This is not the room that I booked. Hotel’s staff upgrade me to an 4th floor apartment by the side of the hotel. The room is lovely and Italy style. However the bed is very soft and there is so noisy at night (a bar nearby open to 2am). The apartment have lift that I don’t need to take my luggage climbing up.

Great location, 400m from the train station. Beautiful room, newly renovated. Marble bathroom with waterfall shower. Very spacious. Lobby is in the adjacent building. Great European style continental breakfast in gorgeous breakfast room with frescoed ceilings.The hotel upgraded our room at no extra fee. Very friendly receptionists and staff. There was a clothes line right outside our window. Lots of food options in this area and tourist attractions. Only negative would be no A/C since they haven't yet transitioned from heat to cooling, no English or French channels on TV and the WiFi was a bit spotty. Bad reception if lying on the bed, good near the door, excellent outside the room in lounging chair next to room 407.

Thank you very much for the early check-in, much appreciated! The lady at the reception was very kind and spoke very good English!👏🙌 The hotel is very close to the cruise port, train and metro station,that was one of the main reasons we booked. The bed was not very comfortable, maybe just not for our taste,didn't have a mattress protection cover, and no pillow protection cover!😞 In the bathroom need some renovation and adjustments, painting from the windows piling of, the toilet sit old,with cracks and moving, the toilet paper holder moving,the shower cabin handles moving,and need a few more towel hooks or one more towel rack. Lots of cold air coming from the windows frames cracks! It was so very noisy, that we couldn't get much sleep at night. We could hear every single noise on the street,every single conversation, all the bottles that was taken by the garbage truck,childrens playing and screaming until midnight. 😢 The room 122,we think has the worst location, has the breakfast room next to it,and an emergency door, that was slammed all the time,even at night time. The apartments are located at 1st floor and there is no lift!

Pros: - great location close to the central train station - just a short walk from via garabaldi and the old quarters of genua - quite big rooms Cons: - the room's AC didnt not work - shower didnt keep a stable temperature, although unclear if the hotel's fault or more of a "city-problem" - our room had a bit if mold smell
