Beautiful hotel with an amazing peaceful atmosphere and stunning volcano views. The staff were welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hot springs were fantastic and lush tropical gardens everywhere you look. We truly loved our stay at Hotel El Silencio del Campo and would highly recommend it.

Place was clean, friendly staff and food was fine. Service was great. Location was good. Hot springs area was good and the place is kids friendly. Great views of volcano and overall property is well maintained. Farm on site for fresh vegetables and admiring the animals.
I would to choose it again.

Great things to say about the hotel! Phenomenal shuttle service (10/10), driver Mauricio was punctual/patient. Upon landing he was ready w/ a nice cool van & drink cooler. The 2.5 hr ride was long, but he offered stops for food, restrooms, etc. He was knowledgeable w/ lots of recommendations & my 10 y/o loved that he had WIFI avail. Beautiful hotel w/ cute rooms, friendly/helpful staff & many animals. Lives up to its name, like a peaceful jungle w/ no noise. There’s a big fun farm mins from the rooms (horses, pig, cows, birds & chickens), we got to pick eggs, milk cows & visit an amazing veggie garden. Suggestions: More space for belongings. An extra person joined last min, the hotel provided an extra bed, but it wasn’t comfy. Food was SUBPAR, not my favorite. Great bacon, chicken croissants & fruit at breakfast. AMAZING Hotsprings, didn’t have to leave the hotel & ordered drinks/food right from the bar. My daughter made friends at the pool & we took beautiful photos w/ the volcano right behind us at the hotel. They called us a taxi to “El centro” for a good food/souvenir selection & it was easy to find one back ($10). Tried "Don Rufino" restaurant (good service/food/prices). We also shuttled from La Fortuna to Samara beach. The 4 hrs went quicker than expected & Mauricio was the best, stopping for great scenery/animals (monkeys, etc) & we felt very safe. The hotel’s convenient for each excursion (horseback riding, zip-lining). I would definitely come back!

The pools and the hot springs were amazing! Loved that each room was its own little building. It’s conveniently located but not super noisy. Breakfast was great!
