Stayed a quick night here and honestly wish we stayed longer. Front desk staff was responsive and friendly from start to end. Room was clean and all the grounds were as described.

A very nice resort for a couple of quiet days with the family. We did not know they offered tours so we booked ours with other agencies. The hotel is easily found and offers a free parking. The farm was fun for our 6 year old. The playground is also a plus but is more suitable for younger children. Restaurant on site is very cozy and offers good food at a good price. The highlight of our stay was the hot springs complex, so great at all times of the day. The staff were so friendly and easily accessible. We loved it altogether and highly recommend!

My BF and I stayed at Hotel El Silencio del Campo in early May. What a gem! Our room had an amazing view of Arenal Vocano and the grounds are lush with on site hot springs, a farm with adorable animals that we visited every day. Everything is clean and well maintained. The hot springs are great! We would go in the morning before it got got and they were so peaceful. The room was quiet and well appointed with a newly renovated bathroom. Each room is a separate villa with strategic landscaping in front of the windows for privacy. Each room get a table and chairs on the porch, which was great for having our morning coffee and looking at our amazing view. All in all, the rooms had most everything one would need for a comfortable stay. They even provide bug repellant! Now for the not so great: The rooms did not have real closets or dressers, so it was hard to live out of my suitcase. The food at the restaurant was good, not great. I don't know why, but everywhere we stayed the hotels had lighting that barely lit up the room. The main sleeping room was dark (the room with the shower and toilet was super bright). Also, new mattresses wouldn't hurt. Although we slept great, the mattresses were a little bumpy. All in all, the hotel is great and the farm and hot springs made up for any negatives.
