Stayed in caravan 4 on the roof which was ideal for me. It was comfortable, the shower was good and I slept well. It does need a bit of tlc, the roof light blinds in particular

The staff here were amazing, professional and friendly. Fabulous location for wandering around Bristol. We stayed in one of the vans and whilst it was quirky, it was tired. The bathroom door was loose, the bracket on the wall was loose and it had stained curtains. However the bed was so comfy. Would stay again but in a normal bedroom next time.

Perfect hotel for a weekend break. We're so glad we chose the Brooks guesthouse for our stop in Bristol. It is located perfectly if you plan on waking around the city centre. The rooms are great and nice and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is as good as a breakfast could get. Will definitely stop again when next in Bristol

What a little gem in the heart of Bristol! We never knew it was there before. In a great location so close to the theatre, shops, bars and eateries but despite that it’s very quiet. We received a lovely warm welcome, the room was spotless, bed very comfortable and plenty of tea, coffee and toiletries supplied. We had a great night’s sleep and a delicious breakfast the next morning, all at a very reasonable price. We’d love to stay in the rooftop caravans sometime. We would definitely return and would highly recommend.

I always choose to stay here when in Bristol. The staff are lovely and it feels very cosy and inviting. Bed is comfortable, toiletries and tea/coffee always well-stocked. One day I’ll try breakfast - it always looks and smells great! And love the honesty bar. Well-stocked and much needed when I arrived wet and tired at 11.45pm on Sunday night!

This hotel was very clean reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On the negative side our accomodation was a caravan situated on the roof of the hotel which was ok except that we found access difficult because the door was elevated above the roof and the steps up to it weren't high enough especially for a person with disabilities to get in easily. Also there was a pub next door that played loud music into the early hours.

The room was cosy, nicely decorated but quite small. I could not imagine staying there with a partner. During my stay I found the surroundings noisy. However it's still a great place for tourists who are looking for a good night life.

I stayed in the caravan on the roof as it was something a little different. The hotel inside looked nice and clean. The outside on the rooftop did let it down. Just lacked a nit of maintenance. The caravan itself was nice and cozy with a really good shower although small but i didnt expect it to be. Plenty of options for food in the area plus they serve breakfast. Overall really good value for money. Parking is a short walk and costs £15 but i knew that prior

The shower stall was amazing! Plenty of room, easy to use. The mattresses were okay somewhat better than typical 3 star loggings . The district where the property is located is very noisy at night due to clubs and pubs nearby. I stayed Friday and Saturday night and drunks were making noise till 4:00 am. The loggings are next to a pub and you can hear the noise of loud music in the dining area. Location is good for Bristol hospitals about a 10-15 minute walk away. Front desk staff is relatively friendly though not overly helpful or customer-focused though some were better than others. Lots of restaurants nearby.

My first solo night stay and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience here! All the staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. I booked this place on the day of travel at a very reasonable price, and they were still accommodating enough to give me a later check out time with no extra charge. The guy on the night shift was an absolute legend and chatted to me for a while when I got back from a night out, he immediately made me feel at ease. Please pass on a good word for him from me! No complaints with the room itself either. It was a decent size and very clean despite having mixed reviews. Comfortable/soft bed, plenty of storage and a full length mirror. The location is right in the heart of the bars, restaurants and shops, but secluded enough to provide privacy. I was out for majority of the night so I can’t comment on the noise, but the courtyard seems to separate the street from the place very well to drown some of this out. I felt very safe with separate keys for the gate, the reception and my room. If I wanted to be nitpicky, the shower pressure wasn’t amazing and there was no hand soap in the room, but this wasn’t an issue as I’d brought my own. The room was very warm and they provide a small fan for this. I can imagine on the hotter days this would be uncomfortable as there is limited airflow. My stay at Brooks really surprised me, I feel like this is a hidden gem. It was exactly what I needed and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
