We used Metro Gambetta as our travel point. There is lots of bar restaurants around and supermarkets if you want anything. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was a bit on the small side but it was sufficient for washing and sleeping.

I didn't know there was any breakfast included. No one told me. The highlight of this hotel were the super friendly stuff. They were nice, helpful and friendly. Thank you.

The room was clean but I couldn't get used to the pillows, very high and they were square, would have been comfortable if the pillow was a bit flat and rectangle. Husband slept well, but I am a fussy sleeper.

This is a comfortable hotel. Has everything you need to collapse at the end of a busy day out and about. Close to metro. Quiet neighborhood. Several restaurants nearby and a few little grocers. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you.

The hotel was just what I wanted. Near the Metro station, in a quiet area. Nice room at the back on the ground floor. Breakfast was fine. No frills but all perfectly adequate.

Lovely clean, safe, friendly little hotel with a fantastic breakfast buffet. Our room was small but had everything we needed. I went with a child and the hotel couldn’t have been kinder. Location is near Père Lachaise cemetery and on the 11 metro line to take you to the other sights. We ended up travelling about half an hour across town daily to see more popular areas of Paris. The hotel itself is on a moderately quiet street with cafes and shops handy. Thoroughly recommend if you don’t mind being a little far away from the main tourist areas.

Great little hotel close to transit options. Old, small and shabby room but clean and affordable. Hotel is 1 star at best but fine for a short stay and provides privacy and your own bathroom in expensive Paris. I agree with ither reviews about the staff - one staff member definitely more friendly and helpful than the other one I talked to at the front desk. Didn't eat there. Close to busses and metro, quiet neighborhood. Wouldn't stay there again as the bathroom door in my room (#305) was rotten and should be replaced as the shower soaks the whole bathroom when used but was fine for the 2 nights i stayed there.

The Hotel was refurbished so the room was very Confortable. Bed, Bathroom, Pillows, Tv and really good sortiment of cable channels make the stay pleasent. Breakfest is very simple but delicious. Internet is the problem. In my Room not work very good. Another Plus. and i think is the most important. is the hotel is reallly very good located. You can take a bus or walk to the metro station and reach all quartiers. I love it. Staff speak poor English but very kind.

I had a twin room with bath on the second floor. I was happy to have a bath, however there was no bath plug. I asked the receptionist about this and he said this is a problem in Paris and he didn't have one to give me. I managed to find one in a shop for 1.60 euros, so I was able to have a bath. Another niggle: On check in I was asked to pay city tax, which was expected at 1.13 per night. However, they said it was actually 2 euros per night due to an additional service charge. This was not advertised or made clear when booking the room and I feel I have been conned. I was offered no receipt for such 'service charge'. The hotel room walls are very thin and you could hear people talking, flushing the toilet etc. There is also noise from the street. Positives: very near the metro 'porte des lilas' and bus/tram stops. A couple of bars nearby and supermarkets too. I would not stay here again. I have stayed in better hotels and nicer areas for a similar price.

At the beginning the check in was simple without complications, the receptionist was very kind, we had to wait for the second room that was not ready yet because it was still with guest, which was no problem. When the room was ready, they gave us the keys and we realized that one of the pillows had a long red hair of a woman that did not correspond to any of us, when I went down to mention it to the lady of the reception, she told the lady of the cleaning, a woman with short black hair, who went to us in a very upset way, who started to complain and talk to me in a very "loud" way, I tried to say that I understood that this was not her hair and that I only wanted that they change the cover of the pillow but she did not understand, however with her was another lady with short blond hair, who was very kind and changed the cover and explained to me that it could be from when they took them out of the washing machines. From that moment we felt that the friendliness of the lady of reception was no so friendly as the beginning but without being rude, the man of the reception of the night was always rude, however the man of the reception on Sunday was extremely friendly. Regarding the location is away from the center, however 5 minutes walk has a subway station that communicates with all the city, at the same time there are supermarkets nearby and restaurants.

This hotel is in a nice and safe neighborhood, easy to reach from and to the center of Paris. The staff is very friendly. The room is for the rate and Paris standards sized better than expected. The wireless Internet works fine. There are several cafes and restaurants in close neighborhood.

Ideal if you want a great priced quiet hotel that is within short walking distance of shopping and transport. Friendly, helpful staff on reception. It would have been better to have had more information in the restaurant area for example, that the eggs need to be cooked before opening them...! Apart from that, the breakfast was very good.

Great stay! The first man at reception was a gem (2nd not so much, he couldnt arrange to have some blown light bulbs replaced in our room) but once the first returned he did so promptly. Comfortable bed with extra pillows. Bathroom clean and looks recently renovated. Not too noisy for Paris! Pleasantly surprised by the neighborhood too, we found it nice and vibey with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Been in many inexpensive hotels in Paris and this is one of the best! Would definitely stay again.
