Staff were impeccable. Food excellent.
Whole standard of the place was top class. Just a few minor points to note & could be improved - bedroom window could not be opened to let in fresh air & badly needed dusting. Not enough electrical sockets & could have been better positioned close to mirror for make up, hair etc. Other than that, it was a beautiful atmospheric and classy hotel and full of character.

Everything just fine. The location and grounds are lovely.

The property is in extensive grounds which are great for walking and bird-watching (we saw a Red Kite flying around the woods)
The service was very attentive without being too much.
The dining choices were excellent.
The only slight issue was the cooked breakfast on Sunday was cold (not an issue on Friday or Saturday morning.)
Overall, we'd be very happy to recommend this place to you and we'll be back soon.
