Amazing hotel in every way. Located near the Ponte Vecchio, right on river and easy walk to everything. The hotel is beautifully decorated with small bar and nice breakfast including American pot of coffee. But the best part was the outstanding service. They upgraded our room and and we overlooked the river and a bottle of prosecco was sitting for us at check in.

Our family booked to rooms and spent two very pleasant nights at this hotel. It has one of the best locations in town just off Ponte Vechio at the historic center of Venice. Breakfast was great and the service personnel who tended to it was the best in the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel in Italy! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The property was full of charm and character, with beautifully maintained spaces and breathtaking views that truly captured the essence of the region. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a luxurious home away from home. The amenities were top-notch, and every detail felt carefully considered to enhance our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive — always available when needed but never intrusive. Their hospitality made a lasting impression and added so much to the overall experience. This was easily one of the most memorable hotel stays we’ve had. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Italian getaway.

We had a VERY SLIGHT snafu when we first got to our room (roll-away for 3rd person wasn't already in room like the desk thought). They quickly apologized, & ended up upgrading us to a larger room to accommodate the 3rd bed even better. I had booked a river view room, but our view of the Ponte Vecchio was amazing! Staff was very accommodating & helpful with our many questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My wife and i stayed here one night only due to a flight cancellation. The staff were very kind to make us feel welcome, made an excellent recommendation for dinner, and packed us a wonderful bag breakfast due to our having to leave at 4am. The bar was very enjoyable for a cocktail before going out, bartender skillful and charming. We stayed here by accident but next time i am in Florence i will stay here.

The location is good. The room for a solo traveler is terribly bad, it has two levels, and you have to climb up a steep wooden staircase to reach it, and doing so with luggage is not safe. The hotel, in its time, must have been of good quality, but they have neglected it.

This property is amazing and by far my favorite hotel during our tour of Italy. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We had a large balcony where we would sit everyday to enjoy a snack and glass of wine. The breakfast is very good with lots of variety. The little bar with happy hour was nice too. The staff are very helpful. You can’t beat the location within walking distance to everything! Will definitely stay there again.

Room was right on the Arno river. Half a block from Pointe Verde bridge! Didn't appreciate the horribly loud truck right below our window that started pumping waste from the hotel. Started at midnight and lasted an hour!! Very good breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with spacious and clean rooms, high ceilings, terrific breakfast and most of all awesome staff. Dimitri and Barbara really pushed our stay to the next level with cheerful conversation and great dinner and shopping recommendations. We can’t wait to head back to the hotel for our next visit. The location is great. Easily walkable around the city. Breakfast was great, as well. The AC in our room however, was lacking. Our room was very hot. The bed was also very very hard. My husband had trouble sleeping. Overall, I’d stay here again…but I would have asked that maintenance take a look at the AC.

My experience at Hotel Berchielli was extremely disappointing, especially regarding how they handled my car. When I handed over my vehicle for valet parking, they never informed me that it wouldn't be parked at the hotel. Only after checking my GPS and seeing that my car was being driven outside the city of Florence for about an hour did I realize something was wrong. When I complained at the reception, they made a call, and the driver immediately parked the car in an open lot about 5.5 km away from the hotel—as soon as he realized I was tracking it. The staff then told me they would bring it back later and park it in the hotel’s garage, but I refused. I demanded my keys immediately, as I did not want anyone else driving my car again. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional for a hotel that claims to offer quality service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values honesty and integrity!

This hotel is in a great location. You can walk everywhere and the easily stop back into the hotel for a rest if needed. The staff from the front desk, to doormen, to the cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were all so accommodating and helpful. I would easily stay here again. My only suggestion for the hotel is you didn't have any nice glasses in the room. If someone wants to share a bottle of wine after a busy day, there was no glasses in the room to enjoy a glass of wine with. They should consider setting up a small bar area in each room - with glasses and a bucket for ice, wine opener,...

It was an absolutely perfect base - immaculately maintained hotel, wonderful customer service with very friendly and approachable staff, a spacious room and all exactly as described.

Hotel Berchielli is a great spot, a beautiful hotel on the Lungarno, it is really a great value. The staff is helpful and nice, the breakfast room, food and service are all very accommodating. I like that they have turn down service and a bar downstairs. Great location and the whole place has a good deal of charm.

We were upgraded to a suite and we loved it. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The absolute best breakfast is served daily. Cured meats, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, granola and cold cereal options, wide variety of pastries, eggs, sausage, assorted water and juices, cappuccino, American coffee. Lived breakfast. Location is beautiful and convenient to attractions. Would love to stay here again.
