Tornabuoni Place

The location was great and we had a very nice balcony to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine.

The property was perfectly located. Despite being small it offered everything we needed for our stay

The only fault was on our second night, others got in late and made a lot of noise causing us to wake at 2am

This property was in a great location right near to the Ponte Veccio Bridge. The rooms were lovely and spacious with a big comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.

The host was lovely but there is no reception here so you have to message on WhatsApp when you arrive and wait for them to come and meet you to let you check in. For my parents as they arrived late in the evening they struggled with this and had to find the key themselves.

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It was also nice and quiet at night. Nice to have a kettle and coffee maker and the small table and chairs were perfect for us.

During our stay there was a fire alarm. An announcement on a loudspeaker said to vacate the building quickly, using the staircase. At the same time there was a power cut. There were no emergency lights inside the hotel. The front door of the property can only be opened with a key from the inside. With no electricity there was no light. It was hard to find our keys and we had to use our phones to find our way to the main door, and put our key in the lock to open the door to make an emergency exit. We would have been trapped inside the building if we had not found our key - and we only had one set! What if one of us had left and had the key to get back inside? The remaining person would have been trapped inside.
