A 9 because Kings card is included, host is responsive, all works well, spacious, quiet and close to old city and bus. The flat is a bit basic but was all we needed. There was a good collection of tourist info including bus timetables and a QR codes page for each bus number. Buses are free with Kings card. I found Fussen hard to book. Already gone were similar apartments that had a washing machine. And I started searching months before arriving. I liked the view of the mountains from the dining window / balcony. You can see Neuschwanstein castle from the landing window just before you go in the front door. The property next door is all garden for the lounge and bedroom windows. A large supermarket is a short walk but we did not cook in the kitchen as Fussen has great eating opportunities. We ate breakfast at Ludwigs upstairs 3 mornings - 16.5E for a good buffet spread including OK coffee. Konigliche Kristall-Therme takes 10 times longer to bus and walk than drive and parking is free and plentiful. But it is better to go by bus to Neuschwanstein castle where parking is expensive and fills up.

Better if it had a washing machine. The parking space for the one bedroom apartment is the one between the poles - tight. For me it was tricky to do. I then preferred to use busses rather that park again. Margit later said to check if we stay again in case the easy adjacent wide park is not being used. The earlier checkout than usual is an ask but it worked OK for us - it meant we began our free four hours at the Kristall Kochel am See therme at 11 am, well ahead of the Kings card expiry at noon. The bed seems low but I slept fine. There is a wrong photo for the one bedroom on booking dot com and it gets used for the confirmation print page (lounge wall mural of mountains). On arrival I thought I had ended up with the wrong apartment.

The location was great. And the parking space sold the apartment to us over others. The bed was very comfortable.

The check out time is 9:30. We did extend this to 10:00 with the owner, but they messaged us to pressure us out by 10:00 so they could clean for the next guest, this felt like an uncomfortable pressure. Plus the sofa smelt of body odour?
