Landhaus Emanuel

The apartment is spacious, clean, and convenient. The view is breathtaking and the closeness to all the surrounding activities is great. The kitchen is well equipped, the host is responsive through phone call.

While the overall experience was ok, there were quite a few smaller issues that added up and took away from the stay- especially considering the high price for three nights, where a higher standard is expected. There are blackout curtains, but they don’t fully cover the windows, so the room never actually gets fully dark. We specifically booked and paid for a three-bedroom apartment, but upon arrival the third bedroom was locked. When we asked the host to open it, he did, showed us the room, and then decided that since we are a couple, two bedrooms should be sufficient, and locked it again. While there was probably miscommunication, this felt inappropriate- regardless of how many people are staying, we paid for the full space and should have access to it. There were also several small but noticeable inconveniences: only one hand soap provided for the entire stay (meaning you need your own for the shower), and no tea that are usually expected at this price point. Noise was another issue (for a light sleeper). Sound insulation is very poor- you can clearly hear other guests from different apartments talking, people walking in the hallway, and activity outside the door, which is an interior door than a proper entrance door. Additionally, light road noise is constantly audible. Each of these points might seem minor on its own, but together they noticeably reduced the quality of the stay. At this price level, we expected a more polished and comfortable experience.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet , grosse helle Zimmer und ein sehr netter Vermieter . Von der Wohnung aus waren wir schnell an unseren Ausflugszielen zb. Neuschwanstein , Breitachklamm , Alpspitz …..,
