Relaxing and enjoyable

The guesthouse is incredible . We had a balcony view overlooking the lake and the mountains . Waking to this everyday was really fantastic . The apartment has all the amenities people would need . I have read reviews about the host being rude but generally I didnt feel like he was rude . He was helpful with questions we had and accommodated our requests .

Nothing really I felt that our money was spent well on this property .

Booking.com website and confirmation showed pay at the property by card but owner would only accept cash also he added on a city tax which was not shown anywhere on booking.com - having booked many times through booking.com I know this is usually shown clearly Tried to contact booking.com via chat but still waiting for a reply…..3 days now The 2 bedroom apartment we had smelled badly of mould and the thin towels provided reeked of it, toilet seat was so badly stained it was disgusting The bathroom provided one small cake of soap and a minute bottle of soap liquid for 4 people for 3 days Would never recommend this place to anyone

It is a very nice place stay. But it gave us a bitter taste when mybabies got charged for breakfast.

It was a cosy Ferienhaus with a nice view to the lake and mountain. You definiately got the nice chill you expected.

The owner always undermined my words and make me feel I am stupid. E.g.: I didn't cancel baby cot request even though I did. And what I found unfair that he charged for breakfast my 2 year old who was having two bites of a percel and 10 month old baby who was having crumbles from my bun which was quite ridiculus.

Everything about our experience at Landhaus Berger was topnotch! The proprietor, Max, was very helpful--he suggested a great place for dinner, which we loved. He also called ahead of time to set up a check-in time (I gave him a one-hour window of expected arrival). This made us actually feel more welcome because he knew to expect us and was waiting for us. When we got to our apartment, it was beyond spacious and so charming! Although we only got to spend one night, we easily could have made it a longer term rental. The unit had everything--full kitchen, dining area, separate kids' bedroom, separate adult bedroom with king-size bed, fold out (comfortable) sofa bed, and our own terrace/yard area. All the furniture is real wood and gave the atmosphere a very warm feel. The location is fabulous. It is located right near the Hopfensee, which is set against the Alps background. You can eat breakfast with a gorgeous view--or just stop in and take pictures while getting breakfast in town. Thanks to the informative guidebook in the room, we found an indoor water park/pool 20 minutes away in Nesselwang. So many good suggestions from the proprietor to make the most of your stay in the Fussen area. Do not hesitate--book the Landhaus Berger if you are going to be in the Fussen area. It is less than 15 minute drive from Neushwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles!

A perfectly fine home base for exploring the spectacular surroundings.

A short walk down to the lake, proper kitchen, spacious balcony. Peaceful. The 2nd floor would probably have a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. The owner gave us tips for child-friendly activities.

The (small) fridge wouldn’t stay closed. To be fair, they had it replaced the next day but as we were just there for three nights it was unfortunate that we had to wait around while they swapped them out so we could transfer our food. The owner/manager was a bit gruff.

The pillows are very small. Broken cupboards knob. No wifi connections in the apartment with terrace. No assist from the staff /owner, keep blaming us for not knowing how to use it. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

A beautiful place for an enjoyable holiday

The room was very cozy, well maintained and well thought of in terms of basic requirements. And the view was amazing, looking onto the mountain and the lake. The location and the view brings the holiday vibes all over. The hosts deserve a special mention for their super-friendliness. It was fun talking to Frau Berger every morning over the breakfast.

The door in the bathroom had no key and we couldn't lock it. Neither the owner nor us could find it. A room under the roof had a very low ceiling.

Very cute house with comfortable rooms. Great view of the lake and the mountains. At night you can see castle Neuschwanstein. Very friendly staff!

The room had a cozy feel. Coffee and tea were available in the room. There was a balcony, which I imagine is really nice in the summer. Budget friendly and free parking is available for guests.

The room felt a bit stuffy. The curtains were worn. It could use with some replacement/updating.

The property is in a house of Apartments but very private with a lovely balcony leading to a small garden ,everything needed was provided.There are two properties and we received our key from Max, nice guy.Our property was across the road from reception, 2 mins walk.

We were several tmes before in Hopfen and liked to return. We also had fresh air instead of smoke.

The viiew was beutifull. room was only bedroom with limited comfort. No working table. Bed was very good. Bathroom was a little small. but excellent.Kitchen had a sleep banch not suitable for sitting. in the corner two banches and a small wall table for eating. Kitchen well equipped. Cutler was out of balance for dishwasher. Four coocking plates was pretty handy. Often are two only.. No measuring can.

Appartement is a good size, clean and comfortable enough beds. Location is great, can go on foot 5 minutes to restauratns, bakery, down the lake of the littlet harbours
