Great views (mountains are bigger and closer than in pictures) & nice modern decor, great location, not as busy as Fussen town & plenty of restaurants, bike hire near campsite (10mins walk), tiny marina for hiring pedal or row boats, canoes & fishing boats too. There are 3 supermarkets as you leave Fussen which are only about a 10min drive away. A small bakery (3mins walk) also sells some eggs, milk & water etc. The local cash machine is in the foyer of the local bank (3mins walk). When you pick up your keys from the office they give you a bag with a tiny bottle of washing up liquid, two soap bars & dishwasher tablets If you like cycling then it’s a must here as the cycle paths are great & lots of different routes straight from your apartment. E-bikes & helmet €45 per day & trailers for dogs/children available. Great walking from Brietrnburgbahn cable car (20min drive).

Overall great place, only tiny issues - very slight smell of drains in bathroom, no frying pan , poor coffee making (old fashioned) complicated rubbish/waste instructions. Worked out that glass & plastics you take to community bins at local campsite (where bike hire place is). paper goes in blue bin outside front door & non recycling goes in black bin (same place). The food waste goes in brown bin that is to the right of the building which looks like it belongs to the property next door.

Ausblick, Ausstattung, netter und hilfsbereiter Hausbesitzer. Lage war perfekt, See direkt gegenüber, Bäcker und Möglichkeiten sehr gut Essen zu gehen direkt in der Nachbarschaft

The location was superb. Overlooking the lake with the mountains in the background.

The stairs. They were tiring at the end of a walking day. The noisy traffic when sitting on the balcony.
