Fabulous apartment, full of character and very comfortable

Nothing. Exceptionally high temperatures were the only issue and totally beyond anyone’s control

Alexandra, the host, met us at the apartment and she was so lovely and helpful. The apartment couldn’t have been more centrally located, just moments away from great restaurants, bars, markets, shops and tourist attractions, and as we had children with us there was a very conveniently located playground nearby at the marina and the amazing aquarium just a ten minute walk away. The train station is also only about a ten minute walk away which was great for us as we were getting the train to Nantes to fly home. The apartment itself is stunning, Alexandra has beautiful taste in interior decor and as it’s her own apartment it had everything you could need. The beds were also very comfortable. Altogether we had a wonderful stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a very minor point, but the entrance hall to the building is not very pleasant and as the apartment is in a medieval building there is no lift, we had a lot of luggage as we had just spent two weeks on Île de Re and getting the luggage up and down from the second floor in the summer heat was not fun! 😅 but as I say this was a minor issue and I’m really only mentioning it as a point of information.

Erreichbarkeit mit dem Auto ist schwierig, das Parkhaus La Verdun können wir empfehlen. Kostenpflichtig, aber fairer Preis und nur wenige Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt. Wäre als Tipp im Wohnungsinserat hilfreich.
