Les Apparts de Charly Duplex cosy au marché hyper centre La Rochelle tout à pied

Appartement idéalement situé dans le centre de la Rochelle. Marché couvert et tous commerces à quelques minutes à pied. Quartier très vivant pendant la journée et calme le soir. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Charly. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour à la Rochelle.

L’emplacement est vraiment parfait car en hyper centre et très au calme L’appartement est lumineux et la chambre a l’étage est top. Le canapé lit également. Rose à été très flexible et très agréable.

Les équipements sont vieillissants.. Le ménage laisse à désirer, notamment concernant le four, le micro onde qui sentait mauvais et étaient sales. Le linge de maison est usé Un rafraîchissement et un grand coup de ménage seraient les bienvenus.

The apartment is well equipped with everything I needed to make coffee, tea, cook dinner and make breakfast. Plenty of kitchen supplies and equipment (oil, salt, pepper, cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, pans, microwave, toaster over (?) etc.) The location was great for my needs as well - in the center of the city by not in the touristy area. Close to 2 outdoor parking lots that I could juggle between to avoid paying too much (free between 12 and 14 and after 18h30, for one). The apartment is on 2 levels and the staircase is quite steep with narrow steps. I have a similar one in my house, and it always requires attention when I’m walking down (something to know for anyone with mobility problems) and to be aware that it means walking down to the bathroom. The bathroom is a good size, well-equipped with towel warmer, plenty of hooks, shower gel. The tub serves as a shower as well and has a curtain that fits inside so managed to not get water all over the floor. I like the long entrance corridor with a bench and hooks - great place to put coats and shoes out of the way. The corridor also serves as a sound buffer from the neighboring apartment. The apartment is behind another building and on an internal courtyard so not facing the street. The upside of that is that it was very quiet, and I heard no noise from neighbors on any side, nor below me. The bedroom has a closet with plenty of space and there was a fan which I appreciated as I use one year-round at home. I really appreciated having a check out at 12h00 which seems more and more rare these days. It gave me plenty of time to have a long run in the morning and not rush to pack up and get out.

The apartment has a well-lived-in feel. This wasn’t a problem for me and it corresponds to the price I paid. To get up to the apartment there is a relatively small spiral staircase. Again, not a problem for me, but anyone staying should be aware. My parents wouldn’t have easily navigated the two staircases, for example, and anyone with mobility challenges should know for carrying luggage up and down and even just going in and out.

Appartement calme en plein centre . Parking payant peu cher et proche.

Accès à la chambre en mezzanine difficile : escalier haut et très raide. Absence de va-et-vient entre mezzanine et reste de l'appartement. Séjour et cuisine sombre et sans vue.
