Le Petit Marché, centre ville, LR128

We had a wonderful stay in La Rochelle. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were placed in another apartment within the old town. This was managed well and we were very happy in the alternative accommodation. It was spacious, clean and comfortable, with good facilities. We particularly appreciated the fan. It was very convenient to all places of interest, especially the daily markets, as well as shops and restaurants.

We didn’t know about the change of venue until after we arrived and were waiting at the original property. Perhaps this was because we did not speak French.

Superb location

I got the impression Aloha the managing agents have taken too much on and were understaffed. Agent struggled to find flat and put us in wrong parking space. The flat could do with a deep clean but perhaps end of season? Skirting boards dirty and some stains to mats and beds Their leaving instructions asked me not to remove the shower gel! Perhaps some guests do this but found a little insulting!
