Very expensive considering what it offers !

Awful poor breakfast and very small breakfast area , does not fit all people; Very small rooms; Train noise; Heating didn't work on the first night, had to go to the reception, they fixed it the next day. Very bad value for 140Euro/night for a single room. Doesn't deserve the name of Ibis. Either lower the cost (half at best) or ramp the benefits. I used to stay in at >6 Ibis hotels in 2025, this was the worse by far far.

Budget hotel 4 mins from the station

The room was basic, with minimal amenities, two hangers, no kettle, and a hairdryer available on request, and a standard shower with a leaky door, shampoo, and hand wash. The bed was comfortable, though small half-sized pillows and an unusual bed topper that overhung the mattress made it feel a bit precarious. The room was slightly stuffy, but the large front-facing window opened inwards, offering pleasant sunrise and sunset views. Cleanliness could be improved, and fresh loo rolls weren’t replaced during my stay. Breakfast (€8) was simple but tasty, featuring ham, brie, mini pastries, juice, cereal, and coffee, with a takeaway coffee and mini croissant option for €2.50. Ibis Styles next door sells beer, and guests can walk from iBis Styles into Ibis Budget if reception is closed. Overall, a decent value base for visiting Basel or Colmar, with plenty of restaurants and bars just a 5 min walk away.

Near to station, clean, good value. Old part of town looked nice ( but was a dark Sunday night!)

As no kettle in room, vending machine dispensing drinks wouldve been bonus. Couldnt turn main light off from bed.

Basic but comfortable hotel located by the railway station and the town centre.

This is functionally a basic hotel but all facilities worked. It is well located near the railway station with an undergound car park. It is good value for money and for one night met our expectations. While it does not do dinner the hotel is near the centre with a number of restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Good offering of foods for breakfast. We stopped here to visit the car museum which is about 1o minute drive though there is a tram stop at the car museum so those wishing to visit there without a car can easily do so.

The underground car park is not easy to find as its located on the road that the hotel entrance is not. As a guide follow signs for railway station car park as the hotel has a number of spaces in that car park.

Nice for a short stay, excellent location for travelers.

Mulhouse train station is just a few steps away, as well as the nr. 1 tram that takes you to the Auto Museum in just 15 minutes. The room was quiet during the night.

After 11 p.m. you must enter via the Ibis Styles' entrance, you have to keep it in mind. When we first arrived we had no tovels in the room.

Excellent choice for a budget hotel near Basel Euroairport and much cheaper than those in Basel.

Stayed here because we were arriving at Basel Euroairport late and, even checking 4 months ahead, all our usual hotel options in Basel were amazingly expensive even for Switzerland and including the Ibis there (some event going on?) It was a good choice - very friendly, helpful reception (even at 11pm) and, for a budget hotel, very comfortable, rooms. We had two triples, even though we are a family of four, and these rooms have a neat arrangement of a single bunk-style bed above one end of the double bed. Clever, space-efficient arrangement. Slept very well - comfortable beds, the sound-proofing was excellent and the shower/bathroom clean and with good shower pressure. The continental breakfast was more than adequate - nice fresh bread and croissants and plenty of cheese, ham (for the carnivores), fruit, juice, coffee, tea. All-in-all a very good choice even if your main destination is in Switzerland, as was ours. The price is half that in central Basel (for anything, not just a hotel) and Mulhouse itself has a very attractive centre. If you need to head on by train, e.g. to Switzerland, the hotel is 2 mins walk from the station, and Mulhouse to Basel main station (Basel SBB) is only 20 mins.

Nothing to dislike about the hotel. The only downside is that if you are arriving late at Basel Euroairport and need to take a taxi, the cost (€70) is as much as the hotel. But, if you are not time-constrained, the public transport connection from the airport to Mulhouse is fine.

Bike-friendly hotel on EuroVelo 6

Great location directly next to the train station and EuroVelo 6, the area felt calm and safe. Staff were very helpful. Free bike parking in the locked bike garage next to the train station was available. Very small, but fine room.

Guests going to and from their rooms could be heard from the corridor, but this got somewhat better after around 11 pm. No hairdryer in the bathroom. The breakfast was okay, but not great, with a rather limited selection.

I am totally disappointed. We booked 2 rooms for 5 people. 3 children. We had 2 rooms of 2! We had to sleep 3 people in the same bed. 2 rooms in 2 distinct floors and areas!!! I let the receptionist know it was not what I booked, he was disrespectful and didn’t try to do something. We went to the restaurant, hoping to have a good news at our return. Same speech. This guy should totally not work at a reception and in contact of person. I want a partial refund!

Cleanliness and good staff!

We find it not easy to find the parking! We Googled the address and found that impossible to drive in 😅 we need to study how to get to the and stopped somewhere to ask the staff about where to park. The parking entrance is actually the station parking on the -1st floor and that’s really not easy to find! We hope ibis could advise us much earlier about this (this was a waste of our 1/2 hr!).
