Avoid it (beds are not sanitized)!

Location is ok for a stopover just before Switzerland, apartments are large.

I was bitten by mites during the night and I am currently covered in blisters. Beds and sofas are uncomfortable and old and belong to the retirement home and are probably not sanitized. Quite awkward the fact that the hotel shares the structure with this retirement home. The host informed us about this detail only a few hours before check in. Breakfast is a joke, absolutely don't pay for it if it is not included.

The location is safe via the gated accommodation.

The reception desk isn't manned until 1pm. The difficulties associated with this were exhasibated by the fact that the staff in attendance didn't speak English.

Good for a short stay when traveling to your main destination.

The room was quite basic but that was fine since we only stayed for 1 day. But the room was big and clean. The location is super, it's only a 10 min. walk from the city centre.

There was no airconditioning in the room or anything to make it a bit cooler. A fan would have been nice at least. But we were lucky it started raining at night so it cooled down quite a bit.

Lovely welcoming apartment, ideal for a few days stay

This was a beautiful apartment with everything needed for a self catering stay. Check in easy and you collect your breakfast in the morning from the dining room to eat in the room. Lovely saying hello to the residents when collecting breakfast :) 20 mins walk from train station

Outdoor furniture for balcony would be ideal, this may not have been there due to it still being early season.

Big shame. We stayed her three years ago and were impressed with the stay. Basic but very clean and nice rooms. This time We were highly disappointed. The room looked like it was cleaned in a rush or a very long time ago. Furniture seamed over used and needing replacing. Very disappointed because location is perfect. I also felt uncomfortable this time having to walk through the old peoples social area, last time we had no contact with their facilities but now it seams to be integrated together which is odd.

A horrible experience.

The so called hotel it’s literally a senior home. On the hallway smells like in a hospital. The atmosphere is gloomy. At lunch time the whole building smells like a cheap cantina. The so called breakfast is a joke and they make you eat it in the room so you won’t interact with the seniors because of their fear of getting Covid The rooms are cold, with old and beaten furniture. It’s smells like disinfectant inside. The bed is too small and very uncomfortable. We stayed for one night and we run away as quickly as possible. of course, they didn’t refund the money for the ninth we didn’t spend there. This shouldn’t be advertised like a hotel. And also all the above information that are real should be put in the description so people can make an educated decision if they want to book.

Staff friendly and helpful. Parking, Room layout. At least after my complaint about catastrophic bed and the director was contacted by the helpless night shift, I was offered something like a show room apartment, that was most probably never used and not stinking..

Both mattresses in my room were dysfunctional saggy hollows without cushioning, letting me feel the wooden substructure of the bed. A hammock, as one of the reviewer wrote, is rather a benevolent adulation. Never ever I was offered such bad beds in my life. I am on Genius level 3 and I know what I am talking about: Most probably a 200kg immobilized person must have spent months in it. Unbelievable to offer such an impudence and take money for it. I should have better read the 1.0 reviews on Booking.com about this place, which, I can confirm unconditionally, all of them are true! Appart'hôtel sounds nice but the reality is nowhere near to that. It’s rather a bad joke, even if apartments are offered, who are indeed not too small and have a terrace indeed, from which you look only the backside of other houses, unfortunately. The accommodation is in fact a nursing home for elderly with an integrated care facility for disabled people. Not only the public areas are shared with the residents but also the apartments, which are embedded on the same floors, where the inhabitants are living in a bare and drear atmosphere! Accordingly the smell in the rented room was somewhere in between surface disinfectants or decubitus ointment. I suppose those rooms offered on booking.com are only available if not occupied by obviously frugal and unchallenging visitors of or the residents themselves. By the way: A damage deposit of EUR 200 is required on arrival but strange enough, you can avoid this amount to be blocked on your card by paying some kind of fee of € 2.10 with it. They do this to get access to your credit card details; because, if you pay that little fee in cash, they still want to block the amount of € 200. PS: Slippery floor tiles in shower, despite designed for handicapped people.

Felt safe, but room was sparse, breakfast ok, but minimal

Since it was an Old Folks home, there were handrails in the hallway which were useful since I had a back injury. Free parking inside a locked gate. Close to the main downtown & a short walk to a few restaurants. Room was quite large with a refrigerator.

No hair dryer in the room. Very tiny table. No bars in the totally open shower to hang onto & floor was very slippery. Toilet paper dispenser was broken. 2 half rolls of paper were on the sink. Had to take our breakfast to the room, couldn’t eat in the dining room. Not sure we got the full breakfast since we didn’t speak French. Beds were low & like cots & room was bare.

Very good

The apartment was super spacious, not extremely cousy, but comfortable and one had pretty much everything one needed. A big terrace was also a plus (see picture). Check-in was rather late and Check-out early, but we could leave our luggage in a storage room. We spent a nice, calm night (no noises at all). The staff was very helpful and friendly!

Happy to recommend but don't bother with the breakfast!

Spacious apartment, with comfortable beds and little kitchenette (which was rather unexpected but welcome). Good sized bathroom with very good walk-in simple shower and, best of all, lovely soft large bath sheets!! We were very pleased with the accommodation, which was really excellent at the price. The location is quiet with easy free parking although not really central.

The breakfast was disappointing: weak coffee, dry patisserie. Not worth even the 8 euros charged, especially as you have to collect it on a tray and eat it in your own room (understandably because there are fears of Covid for the elderly residents but really better not to offer breakfast at all in these circumstances).

Spacious and well-equipped room with free private parking spaces right in front of the building. City center of Mulhouse within comfortable walking distance.

Before you book, please note that these are rooms in a nursing home. The rooms themselves are excellent and have modern furnishing, but maybe not the best place to pick for your romantic weekend. :)
