Core memory

We really enjoyed the privacy and how much the owners were able to fit in a small space. It was absolutely spotless, not a spec of dirt of a single bug which was greatly appreciated. The hot tub/jacuzzi was the perfect touch and we had the most enjoyment in that. Also deeply enjoyed the complimentary brownie.

We found the tap water had a strange smell, almost like burnt wood of some sort. Cooking facility’s were quite lacking but we made due with our own devices. Other then those 2, everything else was perfect

Great get away from it all. Reminder of childhood and holidays . the hot tub was great.

We loved it all. Located near summerhill and Trim and Tara . So lovely area. Kilcock is near by and I love it there. We had a great time . We loved the peace and quiet and the use of the hot tub. We were left chocolate brownies when we got there . so tea and the brownies went down well. There was no TV , but we were glad of it. Not far from Local pub/restaurant. Summerhill is near by so the local shop is great. We had a meal in the local pub which was lovely. It was so peaceful. I had been ill so it was just lovely to be in such a location. The horse box is well set up and everything is just so well thought out. both of us agreed, it was amazing. If you have been working flat out and need to get away: go for it. It was really cosy. the people that own it are very nice. We went to Trim for a short visit and that was lovely.

I think everything was excellent. I think it reminded me of my holidays in the past in my Mam and Dads caravan by the sea in Kerry. Lovely location and you cant beat being close to nature.

Toasty, comfy, relaxing

Such a lovely little place, it was so warm and toasty, me and my partner agreed it was the most comfortable bed ever and the hot-tub was so fabulous and easy to use. There was a lot of pubs and places for food only a short drive, also a Lidl and SuperValu for all your essentials. Checking in and out was very simple and easy and the hosts were great at messaging us for updates - I would definitely recommend as a little break from the city to rewind!

Bit of a smell from the bathroom when we arrived but turning on the extractor fixed that very quick so it wasn’t a big deal!

Would love to have stayed longer

I loved all the little details and that everything you could think of was provided down to having hooks for your towels for hot tub outside. The horse box was so cosy at night. Hot tub at night with the lighting is a must ☺️

A lovely couples retreat!

Beautiful view to the peaceful countryside. Lovely hot tub and the horrrsebox stayed wonderfully warm! Great hosts who offered us extra time before checkout!!

The only thing I didn’t like was the polyester bedsheets and the mattress which was very springy meaning everyone moved if you turned over. Maybe a mattress topper and cotton bedsheets would be better.

Peaceful

Property was very well decorated and spotlessly clean! Bed was very comfortable. Very warm and cosy! Had teabags and coffee and fresh milk which was great and there was even a freshly baked brownie waiting for us!

All the above. Pub in walking distance with live music at the weekend and great food! Short drive into Kilkock also where there are some nice walks and cafes!

James and Elaine made sure we had a fantastic stay, but also respected our privacy! A welcoming message on a blackboard inside..,and a lovely treat,brownies,sealed the Failte..Amazing fittings and decor for such a small space.similar to a houseboat we stayed on...peace and tranquility...Spotless..Hot tub Brill..cows too😉

An exceptional stay.

The bed was extremely comfortable and cosy. The atmosphere and lighting inside the Horrrsebox was amazing. The view whilst in the hot tub was also incredible.

The property was beautiful. The interior of the property was very pleasing to the eye. It was also a nice tranquil environment. The location was easy to find. It was small and cosy, perfect for a little getaway. Great space if you need to get away from the busyness of life!

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact the blinds didn’t cover the windows fully. From the side there was a slight gap to see into the property but otherwise such a great place.

A cozy, private and extremely enjoyable night away!

This property was easy to get to. It was exceptionally clean. It had a great hot tub for us to enjoy throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future. We also went to a lovely breakfast place only 10 mins away in Kilcock.

Wonderful, creative and peaceful

Such a unique and creative accommodation, perfect for a couple trying to get away from busy life. Me and my partner loved every minute of it! Will defiantly be returning… maybe for a bit longer next time!
