Delightful cosy home comfort 🥰

Rural location . The property was so comfortable and cosy. Sinead the owner was delightful and so welcoming and helpful. Warm scones and a very welcome pot of tea on our arrival. Lots of choice for breakfast. Hearty full Irish or less if that’s your choice! The beds were sooooo comfortable, it was a shame to get out of them in the morning!

Wholesome place to put your head down.

Welcoming, warm, quiet, beautiful location, the hostess did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible the main living space is cozy and a great place for a conversation around the table. Excellent parking right by the door as convenient distance to the airport, for a return or an arrival. Great breakfast set me up for the day exploring this beautiful part of the world.

Stunning location and exceptional service!

The place was absolutely stunning. Sinead, the owner, was incredibly nice and kind and helped us with everything we needed. And,in addition to all of this,her freshly baked scones were delicious. I highly recommend staying in Fennor Park Lodge. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent customer service. Very friendly, welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. Easy access with our own key. Nicely decorated. Lovely breakfast with options. Lovely scenic area.

The bed and pillow were a little hard. Little bit pokey in the cabin but it was perfect for just a one night stay.

Sinead was an amazing host and did above and beyond helping us with places to visit and eat.

Lovely hot breakfast with other choses inc home made scones . Sinead was so lovely accommodate us with a late ask on room change . The B& B is a beautiful farm style house with lots of character and set in a quite farming area. We loved sitting out in the evening with a drink and hearing all the animals and scenery.

Sinead is a truly wonderful and welcoming host who instantly makes you feel at home. Her warmth and hospitality create such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, with plenty of fresh, beautifully presented options to start the day perfectly.

Lovely vintage country home and very welcoming host

Horses and animals. Sinead, the host, and her daughter were lovely and helpful. Good location. Big room. Huge bathroom. Character of the house. Separate space from other guests and family. Lovely nearby town of Oldcastle. Much to do within a hour's drive.

Very few restaurants in town open during our stay. A short drive to other towns offered up a few choices--but not many! Though it did not bother us, there were flies present in the house.

The best thing about this location were the horses and setting which was rural and comfortable - the host was very very kind and welcoming and very hospitable.

Perfect setting, surrounded by cute animals

The host was very friendly, the grounds impeccable and we got to interact with horses, chickens and ducks. Steven the duck is the cutest 😊

Night of peace and bliss

Sinead is the perfect host, so accommodating. We stayed in the chalet pod. Bathroom was separate a few steps away but it had a kitchen off it. The main bedroom was comfortable, great size mattress.

Fabulous, comfortable, so enjoyable.

We stayed in the pod accommodation in the garden. It was perfect and comfortable and was so handy as I had a really nasty head cold that I didn’t want to share. The breakfast room was so comfortable and designed so well. The host was wonderful and we loved interacting with the horses and ducks and the two lovely dogs who were only let in to see us after meeting ch pleading on our behalf😝

Fantastic Fennor Lodge

The grounds were sublime. A true family farm with horses, ducks, and chickens. The main building was beautiful stone work and simply lovely. Siobhan took very good care of us as we were last minute guests. The breakfast was stellar and room comfy. Wish we had more time to spend in Oldcastle area and more nights a lodge.

No complaints.

Beautiful period property, lovely homely feeling, very tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and very friendly owner. It was really really lovely to stay there.

A TV for my husband to watch in the evening....but, then again, a TV would have changed the whole atmosphere of the place....I loved it just as it was.

Absolutely amazing

Was an amazing stay we had and the host was absolutely brilliant went out of her way to help you and nothing was to much for her. Also offered us a lift to where we needed to be for a family wedding. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of to choose from including a fry up. Beds were comfortable and would defo recommend this place to anyone

Fabulous stay!!

I loved everything about Fennor Park Lodge - I can't recommend it highly enough! Theresa is incredibly welcoming and kind and accommodating. She rents wonderful rooms in the manor house as well as a sweet collection of pods. Her breakfast room is stunning and breakfast was abundant. The Lodge is just a few minutes drive from the Loughcrew megalithic site, and an easy drive to most every site in the Boyne Valley. A truly wonderful stay!

An amazing stay!

The facilities were very good quality! The whole place felt very homely and warm, myself and my girlfriend couldn't get over how gorgeous the place was inside and out! The hostess was also the most welcoming and polite woman you could ask for! She rang a taxi for us and while also being very willing to talk to us! I cannot recommend Fennor lodge enough! If I am ever in this part of the country again this will be my first priority to stay!

Allting var toppen. Underbart att vakna upp med djur omkring sig. Bekväma sängar, underbar frukost, samtidigt självständigt med eget kök och badrum. Inget att klaga på. Världen var mycket trevlig och det fanns mycket historia att se runtikring.
