Spotless accommodation, decorated to a high standard. The host met us and took us through the property and how it worked, they also left us a great welcome pack. The place is literally 25 yards from 2 great pubs.
The only thing missing is a shower, there is a mixer tap but the bath is inside the bedroom and it is impossible for water to not get into the bedroom floor.

Very comfortable little cottage with lovely helpful host. Great place to unwind for a couple of days. Pleasant local walk to the Friary which has a little cafe.
Be aware that advert describes two different cottages.....the smaller one does not have a washing machine even though it appears to say it has.
Local pubs are not always open. Don't rely on being able to eat out locally in the evening.

Multyfarnham is a beautiful little village in the heart of Westmeath. The Stone House is just off the main street, opposite a lovely little pub which serves great food. There is private free parking right beside the front door. Our host had provided everything from welcoming food and drinks on our arrival, books, local information, lots of towels and storage space and everything else we might need. There is a free standing bath in the attic bedroom, the decor is beautiful throughout and we felt completely spoilt.

In the town
Bathtub only, uncomfortable to get in and out. Bathtub too big for such a small bedroom

What a gem. Cottage is cosy, comfy, everything you need for a romantic, relaxation stay. Aisling was the perfect host. From the fire to the romantic bath, lighting, candles, highly recommend. Location is great. Weirs pub across the road perfect for food, stunning walks.
Previous reviews said no shower. There is no shower but what better than a long soak in a beautiful bath. This cottage is all about relaxation.

Beautiful cottage located centrally within the village and a fantastic base for visiting the wider area. The host was very welcoming and friendly and the accommodation is so comfortable, cosy and relaxing. All modern comforts within a beautifully restored cottage providing everything you’d need for a few days’ stay.
There isn’t a separate shower but there is a shower head provided within the bath - perfectly fine once you get used to it

The house is beautifully decorated with loads of space and has private parking. It is also across the road from Weirs for lovely food and music and singing.

Everything you need on your stay you will find ant the property
"The cottage exuded a wonderfully warm and relaxing atmosphere. The fireplace, prepped and ready, promised cozy evenings. The bedroom was a tranquil retreat, but what truly stood out was the bathroom. The luxurious bathtub, positioned centrally within the bedroom itself, created a unique and indulgent bathing experience. It was a striking feature that added a touch of unexpected luxury. Thoughtful touches, like soft ambient lighting, contributed to the overall feeling of comfort and relaxation. It was a truly memorable and restorative escape."

The property is high quality for the price and there is a generous provision of breakfast items and toiletries. Besides that, my wife enjoyed the candles, the wood burner, the deep bath, the outside seating, the breakfast table set up, the supply of towels, the books, the lighting, and the restaurant directly opposite.

It was a great location, felt private even though we were in the centre of town.. the house was a tranquil place and the hosts made a real effort to make us feel welcome.
The couch could have been a little bigger, a little more snuggle room in front of the fire...:)
Tot sure im in love with the bath in the bedroom but it was a fun novelty, seemed to run out of hot warer after filling the bath.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. Aisling was a brilliant host and went above and beyond to have the cottage nice and cosy for our arrival and provided everything we needed for our stay. Communication was great too. The cottage is located in a lovely village, with a very nice bar/restaurant across the road. I'd happily return here and highly recommend it for a quiet relaxing weekend away.

Beautifully decorated to a very high standard, plenty of space for a couple to enjoy. Other wonderful touches included the meet & greet from Aisling herself and tea, coffee, fruit, milk all supplied.
Lack of wifi to watch something on Netflix, or to get coverage on your phone was tricky. But we were out and about so much it was minor.
