The apartment we stayed in was perfect for a family, with or without a dog.

The apartment came equipped with lots of little things I wouldn't have expected but which were very welcome, for example a plastic step in the bathroom that small children can use to help them properly use the wash basin. Whenever we looked for something in the kitchen, hoping it would be there, it was. For example a bread knife, salt and pepper, and a collander. Tea, coffee and sugar was provided which was nice. On the first evening, I was kicking myself for not thinking of buying some oil for frying eggs when we stopped at a supermarket on the way, but lo and behold we found there was a bottle of oil in the kitchen. There are dozens of DVDs for all ages available, as well as some board games. The television also has a feature called Prime Video which was great for children, and probably for adults too but we didn't look. Michael was very helpful and responsive. I needed a favour, the printing of a boarding pass the day before we departed. He helped me out with that no bother, and on an evening when another guest had taken a particular door off the latch (which they weren't meant to) and we thought we were locked out of the building, within five minutes of us calling he was there to ensure we could get in. He also kindly provided us with a foldaway bed for our youngest child, which enabled us to keep the boy close to us at night. PS: I would like to add that it is clear to me, having read some of the older reviews, that this business is excellent at responding to feedback. For example, one person said they ran out of toilet roll/it would have been nice to have some spare. Well we found more than enough spares under the wash basin. Another person said it would be nice to have a hook for the tea towel, and an oven glove - I can confirm both of those things were present when we stayed.

There was one tiny thing, which I'm sure if I had remembered to tell Michael during the stay would have been easily sorted straight away. The shaving light above the mirror in the bathroom didn't work. Probably just in need of a new halogen tube. I could still shave by the main light in the room, and I'm an oddball for shaving in the evening one time.

Great Location, very peaceful, but closely located to shops, cafes, restaurant's and nature walks. This was my second time to stay there and it was every bit as good as the first. I will definitely be staying a lot more times at the Riverside Marina Apartments

We had a Great stay at Riverside Marina. The apartment was well situated, close to shops, bars, and coffee shops. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils for a week away, the bed was very comfy and the apartment was lovely and clean.

Perfect place to unwind 9

We stayed two years ago and the apartment was still as fresh as it was then. Apartment 3 (upstairs) has loads of space, and the open plan sitting room is full of light with wonderful views over the Shannon. It is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. A short walk to local shops and bars. The area is peaceful and a perfect place to relax.

Family holiday short break

The apartment was really spacious & clean. It is in a great location very close to Lanesborough village and Ballyleague. We were situated directly along the marina with great walks around the river Shannon& and we also did the Lough Rea boat trip around the islands on the Shannon, which was very closeby.

I would have liked a later check out & the gate getting in and out of the marina wasn't working properly all the time, one evening it was raining &we couldn't get the gate fully open even though we put in the code so our friends couldn't drive through

Location is great, right on the Marina. Went there on a fishing trip so access to the water was easy and fishing was exceptional in spite of the awful weather. Access was easy and hosts friendly.

Amazing Apartment in an Amazing Location.

We loved this 3 bedroom apartment on the 1st floor. It was spotlessly clean. Even the stairwell that brings you to the front door of apartment had a nice aroma in the air. The view from the living area window was nice and the TV was huge. The main bathroom and ensuite were well finished, and the beds were comfortable. The location could not be better, especially because the place where we hired a boat was 200m from this apartment. The host was a great guy and super helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great Find

A fantastic apartment in a superb location. It was spotless, very well maintained and we cannot fault it. Checking in was easy, the property is situated inside a secure marina and extremely safe. It is 5 minutes walk into the village which has bars (Adie's bar is particularly good for food and drink) a small supermarket and everything else you need. It was great to lay in bed on a morning watching boats passing on the Shannon whilst reading a book. All in all a perfect experience which my wife and I enjoyed, we would 100% recommend the property.

We were staying for a week and the weather wasn't kind too us. Not so many attractions in the area if you don't have a boat! Most tourists in the area are cruising on the Shannon. For a shorter break though, this apartment would be excellent.

Great location modern and quiet.

Location easy to get to and within walking distance of Supervalu, cafe and pubs. Beside the Shannon and Lough Ree so lovely walks along both sides. Great carparking and gated access so very safe. Accommodation was bright clean and modern with everything you needed. Instructions to access apartment were easy to follow. Access for All boat trips very nearby. Small groups. Takes those in wheelchair or limited mobility. Great spot and lovely accommodation and allows dogs. Only small number of apartments so quiet.

No enclosed area for dogs to run a bit. Also area of marina beside building is not pretty as is working marina with a crane etc. Also looking out at powerstation across the river but you get used to this.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful too. Handy shops nearby for supplies. We will definitely stay here again - it is perfect for families. A cot and high chair were supplied on request too.

Exceptional

We were a group of 6 women traveling for a swim race.The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. Not one thing was missing so perfect facilities. Very close to our race venue and the town centre. We swam past the apartment during our race so a welcome sight as we knew the finish line was near. We will be back next year thank you again.🏊🏊🏊🏊🏊🏊😊
