Cavan equestrian weekend

From the minute we drove up the property we were very impressed the outside was immaculately presented .The inside did not disappoint,it was bright modern and spotless . The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise to arrive to . Even our Horse loved her large stable with beautiful views over the countryside and sheep to keep her company .

What a hidden gem, so private and cosy. Cannot wait to return😊

Where do I begin? It is the most beautiful spacious cottage. The decor and charm is amazing 🤩 So much love and effort has obviously been put into making it so cosy and welcoming. Ashley was brilliant. She ordered us transport and checking in and out was a breeze. Our dog enjoyed exploring the lovely garden. Lots of seating outside and we took full advantage dining alfresco.

Perhaps just to be able to set the heating on a timer as we were out during the day and back late in the evening, it certainly wouldn’t deter us from staying as we have been many times but unfortunately the Irish climate can let us down ☔️.

We wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. It was clean and cozy and warm.

Nothing we didn’t like really. Only thing I would change is that the beds could be a bit more comfortable but that’s a minor detail. It was exactly the quiet break we needed. Local town not far away and has everything you need.

Wonderful experience at Toddys!

Such a perfect, cosy cottage-we were wishing we lived there! It had everything you need, even including a generous welcome pack of groceries. Aishling the host is amazing, checking we were OK and that we had everything we needed-even offering a lift to the wedding we were attending and giving brilliant tips for local places. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again. I would 100% recommend Toddys to anyone looking for accommodation in this area.

Toddy’s cottage is a gem in the Cavan countryside. It’s spacious, clean and well equipped. We were delighted to be able to take our little dog. Aisling was the perfect host.

Couldn't recommend more!!

Absolutely gorgeous cosy cottage! We felt at home from the minute we arrived and were so sad to leave. Lovely peaceful area that is so close to a little town called Ballinagh which has lovely places to eat (Tillies tea room is a must visit!!) and it's a short distance to Cavan town. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Very enjoyable stay, will definitely return in the near future.

Very cozy cottage, just a few minutes from the town. It was really easy to get to. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was amazing to come back to after spending the days out and about. It was fully stocked with milk, bread, tea and coffee etc, meaning we didn’t have to do much shopping at all. I’d highly recommend!

I can’t think of anything to fault this place on. It was really lovely.

The interior and decor of Toddy's Cottage passed all expectations.

Our host Aishling,left Welcome Gift Package of fresh brown bread, fresh milk, biscuits ,jam and fresh eggs out for our use on arrival. Kitchen utensils were excellent and spotless. All mod cons provided in a beautifully arranged decorative kitchen. Our bright kitchen was an oasis of calm set in soothing colours.

Perfect, idyllic stay in a country cottage

Aishling was so welcoming and had the cottage spotless with bits left for breakfast which was really appreciated. The cottage is really lovely and beautifully furnished it was a really enjoyable stay for us. Aishling couldn’t have been more helpful we would love to stay again if we are back in Cavan!

We travelled as a family of five to Toddys Cottage in mid October 2022. We were attending a showjumping event in Cavan Equestrian Centre. The location was perfect. We had easy access to Ballinagh, Cavan and the Equestrian Centre. After a long day's showjumping, it was perfect to relax in front of the cosy stove with a glass of wine. This was our first trip to Cavan and the information pack that Aisling provided was extremely helpful. We enjoyed a takeaway from the local Chinese and had a delicious meal in the Meadow View Restaurant and Bar. We received a very warm welcome from our host and the welcome basket was a real treat after a long trip to Cavan. Overall, Toddys Cottage was a home away from home experience for all if us.
