Excellent stay at Shalom

This property was ideal for our short stay in Arva. The house is spacious, clean and really comfortable.The view from the back of the house is exceptional, looking down over the lake. Also it is only a short walk down to the local hotel. Geraldine was a great host, ensuring our stay was enjoyable.

What a fantastic place to stay. A lovely modern house within easy walking distance of the town of Arva yet so quiet with an incredible view of the nearby lake, well tended gardens and plenty of parking. On arrival the house was lovely and welcoming with spotlessly clean rooms. In fact, this was cleanest house we have ever rented! The beds were so comfy as was the furniture downstairs and everything you could need was to hand. Geraldine was a wonderful host and her communication was timely, friendly and very helpful. Full marks all round and a definite must for another visit to Arva

Loved the location and Geraldine was super with communication. We were a family of 5 adults away for a break 1st time exploring Cavan. House has everything you need and lovely decking overlooking the lake. We were very blessed with the weather during our time at Shalom so just made it even better

We had a lovely stay. The house was very spacious, comfortable and warm! It is an easy walk into the village of Arva from the house. Recommended!

The house is not where it appears to be in the map on booking.com. As a result we thought that the house was literally in the village however it was 400m from there. This was not an issue really but it should be rectified.

Cracking house, the house was ideal, beds extremely comfortable, all facilities there, easy access to the house, good communication with the owner, 5-minute walk into the village where there are supermarkets, pubs, and restaurants.

A lovely house in a scenic location. The owner is super helpful and nice. Minutes to the centre of Arvagh, with pubs and restaurants. We had a great stay.
