About this house rental
Manor Farm Cottage is located in the historic village of Teversal in the Nottinghamshire countryside. Formerly part of Manor Farm, now a separate residence, Manor Farm Cottage welcomes you with an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, and lounge, complete with log burning stove and French doors leading out onto the lawn with beautiful views of the Meden valley.
This luxurious holiday cottage has been awarded a 4 STAR Gold Award by Visit Britain.
A 3PM CHECK OUT ON A SUNDAY FOR WEEKEND STAYS
The cottage provides an ideal base to explore Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire which are great for walking, cycling and visiting National Trust properties & stately homes.
The cottage provides excellent self catering accommodation with a traditional feel and modern comforts throughout.
> On the first floor are three bedrooms with restored pine shutters, tastefully decorated and furnished. A king size bedroom (which can be made a twin if desired) with views over the countryside, a twin room with views over the countryside and a further double bedroom, altogether sleeping six in comfort.
> Relax in the roll top slipper bath in the bathroom, which also has a separate shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
> For an original touch of the Victorian era why not use the separate Victorian style toilet – almost throne like!
> The property is surrounded by gardens, lawns, an orchard and views over open countryside. There is plenty of room for children to play or why not sit out on the rear lawn and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Bring your own bicycles and enjoy riding around the open countryside in the local area, as well as the 'Teversal Trails', which provide great walking and cycling opportunities on the former lines of the Midland and Great Northern railways.
> There is ample parking on the driveway to the front of the property.
> Golf, a driving range, fishing and horse riding are all available locally.

Your reservation for Manor Farm Cottage is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit. A deposit 30% of the total amount is payable upon booking. The remaining balance is due six weeks before the start of your holiday.
Arrival at Manor Farm Cottage should be after 3.30pm on the day of arrival. We ask guests to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure, unless you are departing on a Sunday when you are more than welcome to stay till 3pm
Please note:
All linen is included in the price, fresh bath towels are also included.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
Smoking is permitted but not internally.

We suggest that all potential guests ensure that they have comprehensive holiday insurance which includes cover for unavoidable cancellations.

This place is beautiful - the views across the valley are just stunning and can be seen from the living room and two of the bedrooms. The hosts were lovely and both came to introduce themselves and have a chat, they even pumped up a basketball so my children could play with their basketball net and left it outside our door while we were out! The beds were very comfortable, the facilities were brilliant, wood was left for the fire, coffee pods for the Tassimo were available for use and there was a good assortment of books and games. The hosts encouraged us to use all the house had to offer including the gardens. We took a walk around the village and ended up at the miner's statue off the trail. Coming back to a roaring fire, a hot chocolate and that view was perfect!
