Quirky. Comfortable. Good value stay

Amazing hideaway. Spotless. Family friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. Quirky. Lots of attention to detail. Would definitely stay again

I would suggest more hobs. Not sufficient or adequate. Didnt get hot enough. Hot tap in kitchen didn't get hot. Couldn't cook even a breakfast. Made most though. Just improvements to a fab place.

Quirky and comfortable place - really great stay!

Lovely, unique studio apartment. Very quirky, but great nonetheless. The beds we used were very comfortable and it was lovely and warm.

The hill up from town was a bit of a surprise but still manageable by two mid-fifty blokes after a night in the pub and curry house!

A lovely place to stay

Such a lovely place to stay! The Glamping Rooms have so much character and are lovely & warm & cosy with just what you need for somewhere to hang out in (not just sleep in!). Close to town (noting Derbyshire hills) and with some very good pubs nearby too.

Amazing big room and fabulous for families

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed. The room was massive yet so cosy. Children were in mind with the wonderful solar system projector and the little board games. The kind lady even left us sweets for our son. The kitchen and fold out table were so useful. We were left crumpets, milk and butter. Everything was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

Love the space. So cute! everything we needed and more. Our thoughtful hosts even left us breakfast ❤️

Oh that hill!!! It's enough to put us off having to walk it. The entrance hall is tiny and having that tall table is really unhelpful when you are trying to get luggage in through the door and then into the accommodation. Sorry!.

Little gem of a place!

What a beautiful quirky little room, everything that could be needed and some little extra touches. We loved the location, and the decor. And the locals in the pubs were so friendly and welcoming. Crumpets for breakfast were a lovely touch! Letting us check in a little early to escape the rain was so good of the host. All in all a great place for a night or 2.

The double bed frame is a little sqeaky.

Quirky little retreat.

Took my two boys here for two nights, the accommodation is so quirky and the bunk beds is what influenced me to book. Went above and beyond when the batteries in the remote ran out. Can't recommend enough. Stay here you won't be disappointed.

Small but perfect for a quick stay and close to town.

Everything you needed and no fripperies. The provided crumpets, butter and milk plus coffee and tea were perfect for a couple of hungry cyclists when we checked in! Toasted crumpets were perfect snack before dinner.

Everything! It was a lot bigger than expected very cosy and calm. Well equipped and convenient. We loved how we had our own little garden and the separate shower and toilet was very warm and nice.

Un studio à ambiance magique et naturelle

La disponibilité et l'amabilité des accueillants. Le bon rapport qualité/prix. Un petit studio avec une déco incroyable et de bon goût (dans un style qui peut ne pas plaire). Le petit espace est très bien utilisé : il convient parfaitement à 2 personnes ou 2 adultes avec un enfant. Il y a du très "moderne" et connecté ; il y des matériaux rustiques, beaucoup de bois, un rappel de la nature, des équipements venant de "récupération d'objets anciens". Matlock est une ville agréable et bien située pour des activités touristiques.

Un sous-équipement dans le matériel de cuisine. Conseils : remplacer la plaque électrique unique par une double plaque plus puissante. Ajouter une casserole plus grande et une poêle plus petite. Ajouter une spatule et une cuillère en bois.
