Very comfortable and well furnished. We only stayed for one night, but it was great.

The Long Hall was easy to reach to and had enough parking space for our two cars (and there is up to three if needed). It was also easy to follow the every detailed instructions that Phil had shared to come into the house. The house itself was very clean and had space to sit around and chat as well as to eat all together. Moreover, and this is something missing in most B&Bs these days, it had a lot of great details that made the say all the more comfortable and convenient, including maps and suggestions for nearby hikes, shampoo and gel bottles in the showers, and even bread, butter and jam to have breakfast in the morning. On top of all of that, Phil was super responsive to all our messages, and he also popped around to meet us, which gave us the opportunity to ask about Chesterfield and the Peak District, and recommendations for where to have dinner. This stay was a great example of how details really matter, and can change an experience from acceptable to delightful.
The location is easy to reach to by car, but don't expect a lot of activity in the surroundings. Even the closest pub will need reaching by car.

- location was a little unusual in middle of estate, also a property in the next street was having a large drug raid so lots of police. A little unnerving when staying on your own.
Heating - needs to be able to be controlled easier by guests as was hot and cold at dif times!

All home comforts are here, with Philip on the doorstep to help out. I managed to not turn the handle the right way at the gate, which has a lock and he was there to help in minutes!

The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a dining room. It's in a quiet neighborhood, so you're away from the street noise. Free parking is available. The host is super helpful and hospitable. I wish we could have stayed here longer!

Amazing stay, group of 6-7 of us and we comfortably stayed post hike in wales and we had another hike the next day. Pitstop to rest , bond , eat and relax.

We received a very friendly and polite welcome from the owner. He showed us around the property and gave us a brief but detailed talk through the apartment. And left us with the greeting folder. Which had a completed guide to the property and the local area.

What a lovely gem with many things to do in the surrounding areas! Long Hall was well equipped for a self catering stay, with bread, jam, butter a milk as a lovely personal touch upon arrival. Phil was so knowledgeable about the area and was available to meet and greet, including Buddy the husky!
The space was plentiful and each bedroom had en-suite with the most amazing showers! The kitchen was fully equipped and the outside space was an additional bonus.
I stayed with my family (including ages 8-14) and our dog, and we were all made to feel very very welcome. There is a park just opposite for the children to safely play too!
We will definitely be returning to this wonderful place...Thank you 😁

Depressed unattractive area, gloomy apartment. Expected a private key-lock check-in as was tired following long drive, did not expect to meet owner who was very polite. All information was provided in folder inside.

The property was clean, safe, and good location for Bolsover castle. Paul was really friendly and helped out with earlier check in without any fuss! There is a park right outside for the children and shops nearby! It was a really lovely stay and good way to refresh. Paul had put in little bits of refreshments like butter and jam which the kids loved! It was amazing.

space.so much room .comfy beds ensuite bathrooms for myself and my cousin. dogs made very welcome. lovely garden for them.
breakfast ingredients available. kitchen area well equipped TV channels good comfortable seating and nice lighting. everything intact. photo do not do it justice.
Phil gave us all a warm welcome and helped us re a takeaway meal as I didn't want to drive any more .

We liked all of the property! We really like the fact that the two bedrooms were so similar, each with their own en-suite, and so it did not feel that one of us had a bedroom that was not as good as the other! And the beds were so comfortable, we slept really well. Extremely clean and comfortable - much better than any hotels I have stayed in. With the added bonus of having somewhere to relax in at night.
As coffee lovers the only thing that we would have liked was a cafetiere!!

Phil was very welcoming and smiley and could not have been more helpful or understanding. He bent over backwards to accommodate our bar trailer by removing his own cars from his driveway to ensure ours fitted and was safe and was very thoughtful with regard to our work needs of checking in very early. Couldn't fault it..

Very spacious, well-equipped and spotlessly clean apartment. Comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms in both bedrooms. Good location - 10 minute drive to Chesterfield and 20 minutes to Chatsworth House/Peak District. Great host, gave us useful tips on the local area and recommended a fantastic dog friendly bistro pub. Enjoyed the board games and interesting books! Would definitely return

Great place for a family to stay in Chesterfield. Very warm welcome from Phil who’s prepared to go that little bit further to ensure you have a great trip. The apartment was very clean and well resourced and we had a lovely time. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us and I appreciated the peace and quiet.
