Spacious, comfortable, lots of consideration for rainy days (not that we had any). Ideal location, 15 minute walk into town and short drives to local landmarks: Bakewell, Eyam, Creswell, etc

The generous proportions of the rooms, the decor and the whole lived in character of the place was lovely. Every room was well equipped but the kitchen in particular had everything you could need and then some! The beds were comfy, we could fit round the table to eat in the kitchen and all sit comfortably in the sitting room. The games and books reminded me of holiday cottages from years ago, such a nice change from the soulless Buy to Lets so many places are now.
I struggled to set the clock on the cooker which had to be on for the main oven to come on. My sister said the hand-held shower swung from cold to dangerously hot and back again, a worry if she'd been showering her grandchild. I had no such problem with the rain shower! My aunt would have liked a hand rail on the main staircase.

It was in a great location and a great set up
The boiler don’t work as it had an error so my family including my kids were not able to have any hot water and the owners wouldn’t come back to me to assist in resolving the issue for the whole time we were there
