Nice hotel in historic building

The hotel is located on the quiet side of the river (travelling to Koblenz it's on the left hand side). Easy to find and run by a friendly Dutch couple. We could put our bicycles in their garage. Breakfast was a good selection of bread, cheese, cold cuts, boiled egg and good coffee. Owners are very interesting with some good stories of how they came to be in Germany.

We had dinner at a nearby restaurant (recommended) but were disappointed with the schnitzels!

A good overnight stopover on our Mosel bike tour!

It was old and quaint with many interesting features. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

The bedrooms needed updating particularly the en suite bathrooms.

nice stay in the Mosel valley

The hotel has a lot of character especially in the entry area and dining area where you can appreciate the half timber construction. The room was simple but spacious and comfortable. The area around the hotel is pleasant for walking. In the winter there were not a lot of dining options. But, the place we walked to was absolutely terrific. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and generous. The tiny spaces beside the hotel are not hotel parking. Parking is in a large lot behind the hotel next to a creek.

Middle age building loaded with character and atmosphere, all info about the area, complimentary water bottle, large comfy room and toilet (loved the spacious shower), large parking space. Great breakfast, a pity the restaurant was closed, cute pub and beer garden. Recommended if you enjoy authentic places and people.

Very nice owners with great language skills for those who don't speak German; Dutch, English and even Swedish (!). The small bar is very cosy/"gemütlich", especially for Christmas. Not too many dishes during low season, but enough for a quick and good dinner. "Flammkuchen" was delicious!

Thea is amazing and was incredibly helpful, accommodating and funny. Talking with her was one of the highlights of our trip! She helped me figure out my transportation options for visiting Burg Eltz and helped us rent e-bikes (which were great!). She went above and beyond by quickly answering all of my email questions and offered a lot of helpful information that made planning this portion of our trip so much easier. We wish we could have spent another day or two at her hotel because she was wonderful, her town is lovely and she was so fun to talk to. Thanks Thea!!

Comfortable and cozy old world inn with a very great owner-operator.

The inn is a living piece of history. It is quite old however is charming and enjoyable. The owner is so nice and spoke English perfectly. We enjoyed our time there and highly recommend staying there.

Very nice place with lot of character in a good location. The small town is filled with old buildings. Enough restaurants in the area. They were very nice for my dog, who did not want to leave anymore 😂 the owner is always up for a good story, or sharing knowledge on hikes or history, can recommend 🤗

A beautiful 17th century Hotel full of character

I arrived on motorcycle and was told by Thea I could use her garage which was very nice of her. Thea and her partner Cees are a very nice couple and are happy to help you. The room was very clean and spacious and I had a nice view of the hills. The breakfast was very nice. They do snacks for lunch and evening meal which was enough for me. I would certainly book again if I were in the area

Lovely owners, lovely stay!

The owners are just wonderful sweet elderly couple who try to make you feel very welcomed in any way. There is nothing that is a problem for them. Although it was a last minute booking it was not a problem to find a room for us. :) The house is old but with a spirit. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was simple but enough. I would say that the only bad thing is of course the wifi, but to be honest the whole region is without internet reception so it's the perfect place for a get-away:D Highly recommending!

Super Lage, super Inhaber. Immer wieder.

Super Lage und sehr freundliche Inhaber. Wir haben eine spontane weinprobe am Abend der Anreise machen können. Auch hier war die Inhaberin super nett und hat uns viel erzählt. Die Zimmer sind sehr urig eingerichtet. Mancher würde vielleicht altbacken sagen, aber es passt einfach.

Für mich persönlich hätte es zum Frühstück gerne auch frische Milch geben können. Aber das hätte ich vermutlich bekommen, wenn ich gefragt hätte :)

Het gebouw en de inrichting is authentiek en dat vonden we charmant!

Het ontbijt was meer dan voldoende. Er was voldoende keus in beleg en broodjes. De koffie was lekker sterk en je had een rustige tafel. Voor de kinderen was er een aparte chillhoek waar je tv kon kijken. Ook waren er genoeg spelletje om gezamenlijk te spelen. We vonden het fijn dat je vanaf 16u kon borrelen en zelfs van een kleine kaart kon bestellen. Het zijn vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer, met een persoonlijke verhaal. Ze staan ervoor open om je te adviseren mbt activiteiten en restaurants. Het gebouw en de inrichting is authentiek en dat vonden we charmant!

Ein kleines Moseljuwel

Ein SEHR freundliches Gastgeberehepaar, immer ansprechbar und für die Gäste da. Ein gutes Frühstück. Ab nachmittags bis in den späten Abend hinein konnte man eine sehr hübsche Terrasse und Weinstube mit kleinen Speisen und guten Weinen zu moderaten Preisen genießen. Ein außergewöhnlich hübsch ausgestattetes, altes Haus. Der Frühstücksraum war zugleich ein kleines Museum der Popmusik der 60er bis 80er Jahre, sehr authentisch!

Urige, verwinkelte Pension mit modernisierten Zimmern

Nettes Hotel in einem alten, verwinkelten Fachwerkgebäude. Zimmer und Bad sind jedoch ausreichen modernisiert. Freundlich und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Etwas eklektizische und dunkle Innenausstatung, aber für den Preis völlig. Das Frühstück war reichlich und lecker. Obwohl Mein Zimmer zum Biergarten gelegen war, hatte ich keine Probleme mit Lärm.

Schade dass nur Snack zu essen gabe. Nach meiner langen Wanderung wäre ich gerne im Hotel geblieben. Sonntag abends war es chwer überhaupt etwas zu essen im Ort zu bekommen.

Ontbijt was goed geregeld voldoende keuze aanwezig en heel aardige service van de eigenaren. Motor in de garage kunnen stallen voor de nacht dus dit was super fijn.
