Good old-fashioned hospitality in a family-run hotel

Nice large and clean room. Breakfast was included in the price, which made a lovely change, and it was plentiful. Supper in the evening was delicious and accompanied by wine from the family's vineyards. Lovely!

Lovely quiet room, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. It was quiet after 10pm when the inner terrace shut.

The apartment was super roomy and had lots of space to relax.

The stairs to the apartment are a bit narrow, so if you're carrying a lot of stuff or traveling with a little one, it might be a bit of a squeeze. Parking is on the street, so if you arrive late, you might need to park a bit further down — not ideal if you’ve got a bunch of bags with you.

The room had no window, only a door that opened to a terrace shared with other rooms, so there was no privacy. All the noise from the other rooms could be heard. Breakfast was average.

Description of appartment is wrong. For example there was no dishwasher but in description it was. Poor wifi.

Excellent value for money

Value for money: very large room and a great bathroom. Fine location, with additional comfort of having a nice restaurant (with excellent wines) in the same building.

Some unnecessary misunderstanding after the reservation about the triple bedrooms. The third bed, a sofa (as we knew beforehand) could have been more comfortable. The owner (?) could have been friendlier, but he was dealing with the reopening of the restaurant and our company arrived rather soaked after a day of hiking in the rain.

Great place to stay

The owner was very kind to us. The breakfast was great, we had a lovely day start in the morning. Near to Burg Eltz, Geierlay bridge and Cochem. Also we ate dinner at the hotel, it was delicious, the wine is tasty.

Nice room with a lot of space and the breakfast was good.

When we arrived we had to wait outside several minutes (around 15) to have someone to open us. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower, you must take yours but one positive thing, there was a hairdryer :)

Loads of charm, great breakfast

Old, well kept up building. Lots of charm and very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. Parking was adjacent to the hotel, free on weekends. They realized my wife had a problem with stairs and immediately moved her to a room on a lower floor, without us even asking. The room and bathroom were both very large. We stayed here because no room was available in Cochem, but, in hindsight, very glad that was the case as we loved this place. Would recommend this to anyone in the area.

No elevator, not uncommon with older buildings as we found out in our time in Europe.

Die Unterkunft, das Personal, das Essen (sowie Silverster Menü und Frühstück ) extra klasse. Alles wurde liebevoll hergerichtet und geschmacklich toll. Einfach empfehlenswert.

Mooi appartement in leuk dorpje

Een mooie ruim appartement, alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. Comfortabele bedden. Heel ruim opgezet over de hele bovenverdieping. De eerste dag geen wi-fi, ook niet beneden, maar daarna werkte het weer. Zeker een aanrader als alles weer open is en er ook personeel aanwezig is.

Geen verduistering voor de ramen in de slaapkamer, alleen vitrage. Het restaurant was dicht en op oudejaarsavond toen het vuurwerk begon wisten we pas dat de weinstube open was die avond. Dat had wel doorgegeven mogen worden aan de gasten.

Kurzurlaub

Das Frühstück war gut und das Essen super 😋 lecker....auch der Wein war gut.Die Wirtin war sehr gastfreundlich .

Leider werden die Kopfkissen und Decken wohl nicht gereinigt sondern immer nur frisch bezogen.....so das sie mit ekligen gelben Flecken übersäht sind von innen.Leider ist es so 🫣 und als wir das der Chefin sagten bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer wo es aber leider nicht besser war.Also haben wir uns schnell neue Kissen im naheliegenden Geschäft gekauft und die Tage noch genossen. Schade !

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen und komfortablen Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Unterkunft lag sehr zentral. Das Zimmer und Badezimmer waren großzügig und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet, sehr reichhaltig und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Sehr familiär und freundlich.

Im Zimmer zu Hauptstraße kriegt man viel von der Straße mit aber mit geschlossenen Fenster kann man trotzdem gut schlafen.

Ruim appartement op mooie locatie

Erg ruim appartement, fijn om een balkon erbij te hebben. Goede locatie in een dorp vlakbij de moezel. Ook supermarkt en eetgelegenheid op loopafstand. Prachtige omgeving in de herfst! Erg vriendelijk geholpen door eigenaresse.

Bed in de woonkamer vonden wij een beetje gek, er waren aan de voorkant van het huis geen verduisterende gordijnen. Ditzelfde bed is aan vervanging toe, staat wankel op de poten.

Moselkurzurlaub

Die Weinstube liegt zentral im Ort in der Nähe der Mosel. Das Frühstück und auch das angebotene Abendessen per Karte war lecker. Das Zimmer war sauber und wurde jeden Tag neu gereinigt. Die Betten sind sehr bequem.

Die Parkplätze sind eng. Es ist schon etwas Können angesagt, um durch die engen Gassen zu kommen. Die Beschreibung, wo man das Appartement findet, war zwar korrekt, aber wir hätten uns gewünscht, wenn ein Hinweis trotzdem außen an der Tür gestanden hätte. Wir dachten erst trotzdem falsch zu sein, da an den Klingelschildern nur verschiedene Familiennamen standen. Vielleicht könnte man das noch ändern. Und wir hätten uns ein klein mehr freundlicheres Auftreten gewünscht. Manches Personal war recht kühl uns gegenüber.

Tolle Unterkunft in einem Weingut. Tolle Weine, sehr schöne angeschlosssene Weinstube. Empfehlung!!

Zentrale Lage mit sehr schöner angeschlossener Weinstube, tolles Essen, sehr nette gastfreundliche Gastgeber. Die Fahrräder waren eben abzustellen und aufladen war kostenlos möglich.

Geschmackvolles Zimmer, schöne Terrasse im Innenhof ( allerdings laut, wenn man im Zimmer und nicht auf der Terrasse ist), freundliches Personal, gutes Essen

Kleine Mängel in der Instandhaltung: Handtuchhalter im Bad lose, auf der steilen Treppe zum Zimmer waren Bretter lose. Auch hier nur Kleinigkeiten: kein Duschgel im Bad, beim Frühstück erhält man eine Auswahl vorbereitet am Tisch, z.B. 0,25l Orangensaft für 2 Personen, abgepackte Marmelade, Zucker, Salz, kein Müsli. Am Nachbartisch wurde nach zusätzlichen Brötchen gefragt, es gab keine mehr.
