Yuraku Kinosaki Spa & Gardens

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was probably the nicest ryokan I stayed at. The futon was so comfy, the room was dark at night, the a/c worked well. I really loved the tatami and the sliding doors to the bathroom/sitting area, which overlooked the beautiful garden / forest behind the property. The public onsen at the inn was also a nice treat and very convenient. The property is at the end of the main area but it wasn't a problem at all for me to walk. And it was kind of nice being tucked away back there.

The room could have been cleaned better. I noticed hairs on the tatami when I arrived.

Amazing view, the most friendly staff, and very peaceful.

Private baths were definitely for partners. Groups could not really be accommodated by the tub size.

Spacious ryokan with traditional Japanese hospitality. It’s located at the end of the Kinosaki strip, so it’s very quiet, yet still close to the temple area and the ropeway lift. Kinosaki is a small town, so everything is within easy reach.

Atmosphere: quiet and respectful, attention to detail. The food was wonderful, not only dinner, but also breakfast was very special with many different small courses.

Nothing to mention really. Price is a bit high we thought while booking, but afterwards we felt it appropriate
