Ichidaya

The location is perfect. It is in the heart of town within walking distance to all of the onsens, shopping, restaurants and train station. The property is beautiful and very authentic.

Beautiful Ryokan and excellent service. We were given beautiful Yukatas to wear for the Onsen. Super convenient for the train station and Onsens. Beautiful view from our room. My favorite stay of my trip.

The location was excellent, near the centre of this pretty onsen town and short walk from the station. The kaiseki (banquet meal) served in our room was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Entry to the many onsen (hot spring baths) and use of a kimono was include in the hotel stay.

The meals included top quality ingredients but this did make the overall package quite expensive. This was the only negative point about to our stay, but I'm glad we did it once.

Modernt, men samtidigt traditionellt ryoukan. Moderna privata badrum med ett smidigt bokningssystem. Rent och fräscht, nästan som en operationssal 😊 Personalen var trevliga och vi blev ledsagade av en underbar kvinna som förklarade allting med den kanske bästa engelskan jag hört i Japan. Vi hade gärna stannat en natt till, men personalen hade deras semesterdag och bad så hemskt mycket om ursäkt! Läget är perfekt för ”onsen-hopping” och ger tillgång med minutavstånd till kanalgatan som löper genom staden med deras härliga onsen.
