Good accommodation for the location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
One of the private bathrooms had a window. It was not in use and blocked.

Extremely clean! Amazing! The staff were very friendly and polite. Felt like an original ryokan stay: simple, calm, and amazing traditional food!

Located in a traditional ryokan, the room had tatami floors with futon bedding, a private restroom, and a sitting area with a sink and, more importantly, a view of a small but beautiful garden. The price includes a pass to all public onsens. Unfortunately, the nearest one was under renovation, but the ryokan offered a complimentary private onsen. We've enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast.
We have selected this ryokan as its kitchen was prepared to handle food intolerances, and one of us was coeliac. It is a pity then that, by the time we registered, dinner was sold out. The ryokan is one of the furthest from the train station in the village.
