The rooms were spacious and the location perfect for our one night stay. The restaurant was simple and the food good. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was plentyful.

Friendly and helpful staff and a clean and very comfortable hotel

Lovely hotel, perfectly placed for the Ofen pass and then Umbrail pass. We arrived by bike cold and soaked and the staff were incredibly helpful in getting us installed and helping us dry out (even finding paper to help us dry our shoes!). An excellent breakfast before another day of cycling too. And we ate in the restaurant the same evening and it was extremely good!

I was happy with the chosen hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had everything that it was supposed to have. As it was a brief stopover and I had no other plans in Zernez, it was very convenient to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

Superb

The hotel has very friendly and attentive staff. We had a room in the house next to the hotel. The room was big and very quiet! It was very convenient to have breakfast already available at 7. If interested, the hotel rents bikes and e-bikes for free. We didn't benefit as we already planned our hiking trips.

Reception opens only at 8, which is a bit tight if you take the bus at 8:15, but that's only a minor point. We were happy with our choice.

i was here for the engadin rad marathon. i liked the breakfast start at 5.30am i liked the staff i liked that it is located almost in front of the start line i like that they are pet friendly i like that the room/bathroom was clean

it was very noisy until 2-3am. many motorcycles passing by and the noise get easy into the room. if you close the only one window, it is just that warm that I could not sleep well.. Maybe you have to ask for a room more in the inside and not close to the street.

Unpretentious - nothing jarring or overly modern - a great base to reach some very beautiful and unspoilt places.

I’m really pleased to have stayed here, mainly because the hotel and restaurant felt genuine and unspoilt by the passage of time. I found the staff to be friendly and ‘real’, while the room felt just right, with great views from windows and balcony. Zernez itself has very little modern sprawl around its old core, and though it has traffic passing through it this merely adds to its unaltered atmosphere. The railway station is just a short walk away and the local trains are a pleasure to use, as is the bus through the national park and over the spectacular Ofenpass. This bus (the 811) also departs from the railway station, and has a stopping and express version, both hourly.

Already miss Zernez and Hotel Acla Filli

I had booked two nights at ACLA FILLI but already after the first day I wanted to extend my stay. Partly because the village was so nice, the hiking trails fantastic, but the family feeling at the hotel and the welcoming hostess Inna also contributed greatly. The hotel is not newly built or newly renovated, but in very good condition and for me just charming. This is a place I hope to return to very soon.

Some rooms have windows facing the street which is relatively well-trafficked, with the windows open it was quite noisy so I can recommend earplugs at night in that case.

Perfect.

Loved our stay at the property. Iena (our gracious host) was so warm and welcoming. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and historic. If you are looking for a hidden gem, this is the place to stay. Our rooms were spotless, beds comfortable, breakfast delicious, and to top it off, Iena was there to greet us morning, noon and night. It’s funny, we are staying in another town tonight, but wish we could go back to this hotel, Zernez, and Iena! Would unequivocally recommend for the idyllic Swiss experience. Hope to be back again soon!

Great stay for hiking in the region!

The host was very nice and friendly. The hotel is in the proximity to the train station. Breakfast is open since early in the morning. Overall it was a good experience, and we will return in the future.

Some equipment is a bit dated. Breakfast buffet could expand a bit.

Little gem on the doorstep of Swiss National Park

The proximity to the Swiss National Park makes this hotel ideal for a hiking holiday.

We checked in on a Sunday and were not given the Guest Cards which would have given us free public transport in the region. The visitor centre rectified this the following day, providing us with cards which we made good use of during our 4-day stay.

A nice cosy place to stay for skiing.

Very kind and friendly staff. A hearty breakfast, good for going out skiing afterwards.

The shower temperature was not consistent and when first entering the room it smelled a bit off.

Passable

The hotel was as good as closed. It’s quite large but noone else was there. The patron let us in, gave us the key, and then locked the door to any communal areas. We had a key to a side door. He also asked us to move our vehicle even though it was in an empty parking, and move it to a side parking which was sheet ice. The WiFi basically didn’t work, or only spasmodically, even though we were the only guests. The restaurant was closed even though it said closed to end Jan (we visited mid Feb). Breakfast was fine considering we were only guests. All in all a soulless experience.
