Romantic get away for couple, easy access to St.Moritz or Livignio

Great breakfast, nice and close to the station. They really take Valentine's seriously.

Small hotel with committed and caring staff. Good location near to the station. Attractively designed rooms using stone and timber to good effect. Very good breakfast buffet with waitress service for hot food options.

Beautiful but expensive

Breakfast has lots of interesting options (even though I don't understand why fruit pieces are individually put into small glasses, which makes it cumbersome to even eat a full kiwi), including some freshly prepared add-ons from the kitchen. Rooms are very stylish - a beautiful blend of old and new Alpine styles. It's our favorite ambiance. Spacious bike parking, ample car parking, flexibility and help in finding spots. Breakfast was offered earlier in connection with the Engadin Radmarathon.

The tone of the host feels a bit rude at times and could be a little less ironic. During peak season, I find the prices too high compared to the offer - and it's the reason I wouldn't come back despite all qualities unless I had to sleep in Zernez again for proximity to an event.

Newly renovated hotel in the center of Zernez

Excellent, newly renovated rooms with a lovely view into the garden and the valley. Nice restaurant with local dishes. The rooms facing the valley are very quiet.

A comfortable hotel, a wonderful breakfast but select the right room ;-)

The room was great despite the fact that it had no view. The breakfast was really great with a lot of choices. The free parking lot was really helpful and the garage to store the bikes was very handy,

Despite the fact that the room was really great, it was also very noisy and/or warm. Without air-conditioning, you had 2 options: a hot room or a noisy one. Being located close to the main street of the village (which is more a motorway then a street) and just in front of the kitchen, you have the noise from the street and the noise from the kitchen. I do not recommend the room "Alpenchic Junior-Suite DELUX"

A good hotel in an excellent location for exploring Engadin.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was very good. As someone who loves to get out and about in nature early I do wish the breakfast was available earlier than 7:30, but I suppose the later start is amenable to many or most. The location is excellent, close enough to the center of the village and also the train/bus station to make it usable for exploring the area.

The only negative thing was the lack of a usable outlet for overnight charging of electronic devices. The main room, exclusive of the bathroom, had only a single 3 outlet block that was switched by the main switch for the room, which also controlled a number of lights that could not be switched off separately, so not really usable for overnight re-charging of phones, computers, cameras, etc.

Wonderful surprise in the heart of Grisons

Very cosy hôtel, excellent and spacious family room with a nice mountainous touch. The restaurant was surprisingly good, gourmand type with rare dishes. The garden behind was wonderful with great view on the mountains, nice place to rest after a day of hiking.

The location, the hotel is located at the main road so difficult to sleep with windows open during the summer.

Very nice hotel, clean, excellent breakfast, gateway to the National Park.

The breakfast was excellent. Large variety, very good food. The presentation of the food is very nice. Additional food e.g. scrambled eggs, meat platter etc. can be ordered à la carte. The room was very clean, a good seize and with nice wooden furniture. The self serv bar in the beautiful garden is excellent. You can also help yourself to small goodies from the fridge.

The beds were a bit hard for us. Personally I prefer more privacy in a bathroom (not a glass door).

Very nice hotel in the middle of Zernez. We were there as a family (4) and we had easily enough space in the comfortable Alpenchic 4 bed - room. Breakfast is fantastic and the staff very friendly.

The hotel seems to be recently renovated. From the outside, it looks very traditional. Inside our room the decor was modern and chic, the place spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. Zernez itself is a quiet village, but in the heart of the Engadine Valley. I would definitely stay again.

Cozy hotel with lot of character in Zernez

The hotel is very authentic and has a lot of charme. The rooms are very cozy, clean and have all the amenities you might need. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and some à la carte options such as waffles, eggs etc. as well (included in price). There is also free coffe & tea for all hotel guests every afternoon, however we did not try it. However, we tried the restaurant for dinner and the food was exceptional! The dishes are all local specialities and the menu is full of options. We will for sure consider the hotel & restaurant for our next trip to Zernez!

everything! Friendly and professional staff. The food was excellent, with good covid measures in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner. The room was lovely. Nice little touches like a fire pit out in the snow and gluwein served.
