Ok place to stay, if nothing fancy

Central location and easy to move to and from by car when exploring the lower Engadine, National Park, Val Mustair. Liked the proximity to the National Park Centre which is highly recommended! Hotel and restaurant are somewhat average and could use an upgrade here and there but everything worked and it was clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was good.

Rooms facing the road are susceptible to some road noise.

I would recommend.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location on the edge of town, our room looked out across the valley and we sat and watched the trains coming and going in the distance. The hotel is slightly older in terms of decor but it makes a change from the modern identikit chain hotels. The restaurant is brilliant and serves a full breakfast with good variety of foods and the evening meals were similarly hearty. The staff are attentive and the menu offers a good variety of food, including of course the pizzas cooked to order in the pizza oven, There was plenty of free parking. Zernez is a very good location for exploring the region, it's not far over to the Stelvio Pass and there are various castles around the area.

The restaurant staff was nice, clean room, peacuful and quiet place with a nice view, available parking.

Hallway smelled, and the reception was not really the nicest we had. They were mad at us for arriving early, even after explaining we just want to leave our belongings and would come back after check in time.

Very happy and if opportunity arises, I will return.

Exceptional place for those who want to visit the National Park. You also feel very comfortable with staff that are very nice and listen. The modern rooms are large enough and well equipped. Bus stop is 200 meters from the hotel and will bring you to the National Park. Finally the restaurant offers a large variety of food of excellent quality. I strongly recommend.

Great base to explore Engadin and Val Müstair

Great location, awesome and friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel sits right on the exit of Zernez, basically at the door of the National Park, is easily reached on foot from the train station (or the nearest bus stop, less than a hundred meters away) or by car (ample parking space available). As for the restaurant, everything we had was delicious.

Very nice spot to stay to visit the area. A very nice place for a small budget

The staff was very kind and the hotel was clean and confortable. I appreciate the bed and the equipment such as the big flat TV and the numerous of electric plugs at disposal. The style and design were charming and the wood is still a great value. The breakfast was very good too.

The restaurant was a bit expensive and the food basic. There are no drinks in the rooms and the bottle of water in the restaurant is expensive. No safe and no minibar.

Older style but clean with comfortable bed

Comfortable bed, good views, good breakfast. Enjoyed speaking a mishmash of four languages with the staff. Delicious pizza! On the edge of town, but I didn't mind the short walk and appreciated the free hotel carpark. I didn't realise (and neither did some locals!) that the national park is closed in winter until late May and you can't go on any trails. Nonetheless Zernez is a good base to explore the area, eg the easy to reach Morteratsch glacier near St Moritz and spas in Scuol. Be sure to have the grilled skewers at Bar 47, amazing!

Old chairs in the room are not very comfortable, furniture could do with an update.

Hôtel sympathique calme et propre.

L'accueil très sympathique de la dame qui nous a reçu en parlant français. Pouvoir mettre ma moto dans un garage. Petit-déjeuner correct. Grands lits confortables. Les 2 pommes à disposition dans la chambre.

Le fond de la pizza pas assez cuit. Une bouilloire dans la chambre aurait été bienvenue par rapport au prix. La taxe de séjour à CHF 4.- (Indépendant de l'hôtel, bien sûr) Encore une commune qui ponctionne le touriste sans rien lui donner contre !!

Super séjour dans un super hôtel.

Bonne situation géographique par rapport au village, un peu à l'écart donc tranquillité. Personnel et patrons super sympa, très agréable et arrangeant. Propreté irréprochable, chambre confortable. La cuisine très bonne et la carte est très variée. On a le choix. Je recommande cet établissement et nous retournerons l'année prochaine.

Das Buffet reichhaltig. Essraum angenehm und gemütlich mit Blick in die Landschaft. Zimmer 2 auf Parkplatz (völlig i.O. da trotzdem ruhig. Und Morgensonne im Gesicht (Juli). Das Personal sehr herzlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Ein unaufgeregtes aber völlig akzeptables Gasthaus.

Farben, Einrichtung und Materialien sind ein bisschen aus der Zeit gefallen. Lage und Natur machen das aber wett. ;-)
