A compact cosy pad in the heart of Whitby

Compact, clean, cosy. Great location just across the road from Baxtergate. Close to everything. Nice, modern, quality fixtures and fittings. Very quiet. Slept like a log.

All good no negatives. Don’t expect a great view from the patio it just overlooks an unadopted road and the bins but lots of places in Whitby are tucked away in backstreets and alleys.

Good stay

Very clean and location. Near to station and several takeaways, Coop etc. But not people noisy as set back from main road.

Main thing - 6 steep steps up to property which wasnt clear from pictures (see pic) and cant see last couple when dark even with garden light on. And partner tripped on step down to patio doors so important have to be aware of steps.

Beautiful Whitby hideaway

Beautiful small apartment, well refurbished and a lovely place to stay . Very unique 👌. Very close to public transfer links , both bus and trains only minutes away. Convenient for Whitby pubs , shops and restaurants. Really quiet place to stay , even the noise from the seagulls seemed subdued . We would highly recommend.

The steps in and out are steep and could really do with a hand rail . The step in through the patio doors should have a white stripe on and its easy to trip on the way in. Not good for people who have mobility problems.

Compact but beautiful apartment, v close to town centre

It’s beautifully decorated. Plenty of utensils etc. close to town. Was very clean. Shower was great. Lovely fire display. Massive tv

Loading and unloading was difficult due to private road. Upstairs neighbours were noisy. The outside furniture (chairs) needed a clean. Also would be better if outside decorations / accessories could be cleaned up / refreshed

Amazing location in the centre of Whitby but the property itself is nicely hidden away. Very cosy property. Love the shower. Feels like a home away from home. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

There was no where to store hair and body wash in the shower. That is the only bad thing I could say about this property.

Whitby weekend

Fantastic little apartment, ideal location. Slight mix up on arrival but it was sorted very efficiently thank you. Would not recommend for anyone bad on there legs as the steps up (although only about six) but they are steep. It has everything you need, the amenities are great, a very well looked after and finished apartment. There is parking on the street but if you do get a space you could end up blocked in, so we used the one near the coop. Just off the main road into Whitby, and right next to the bus station, although you would not know it, it is very quiet. Nice little outside area to sit and enjoy a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night.

4pm check in and 10am checkout they could easily change the times on both these times by a hour in the holiday makers favour, doesn’t take six hours to clean such a small apartment.

A brilliant, supremely comfortable and hassle-free stay which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The property was fantastic; clean, sleek, comfortable and with all the facilities that we could’ve asked for (the fireplace display was a much-loved bonus). The location was perfect and made it simple for us to leave 10 minutes prior to reservations or bookings along the pier, and we could still make them in time.

There was quite a lot of random rubbish and debris in the spaces between the apartment building and the building adjacent, but the inside of the apartment made up for the way parts of it looked from the outside patio.

The apartment looked so inviting on arrival. The heating was on and the lamps were on giving a really cosy appearance. As we visited during the xmas break there was a Christmas tree lit up and other tastful decorations. A real home from home vibe.

Exceptional

Everything it was beautiful. It was so clean, everything you needed was where. Towels and complimentary toiletries right down too a lovely chilled bottle of wine waiting in the fridge for you.

Absolutely nothing. Except just one little thing it was raining and the steps up too the apartment were very steep but they were covered in a green moss so they were very slightly slippery. They could do with a pressure washer on them just too remove the moss for safety reasons only.,also if you are not aware of the step down before the doors going into the apartment you may stumble.some sort of warning put in place would help.

Great location yet quiet. We had fine weather so the terrace was a bonus. The bottle of white wine in the fridge was most welcome. Spotlessly clean. Excellent fit and finish. Quality fixtures.

Profit before people

Lovely clean comfortable flat,great location. However it was all down hill from there.

Got a message 8.30pm first night saying a builder was fitting a kitchen in upstairs flat nxt 2 days,didn't inform us the builder was staying in the flat,he played music all night long,we got to sleep at about 4.15am and woken up at 7.45am with more loud music,we were shattered and could'nt get an hour in afternoon for drilling and hammering all day,our stay was totally ruined,if we had been informed about builders we would never have booked it,and it should never have been let knowing work was being carried out,profit before people company and i will never book with them again,there's atleast another four reviews ive found with same complaint,and i did'nt appreciate getting bombarded with emails and text messages,28 at last count.

A perfect long weekend in a comfy, super clean apartment with everything you could possibly need.

A perfect apartment in a perfect location for everything in Whitby. We absolutely loved it and cant wait to go back. The bed was the comfiest, the shower the most powerful we have ever used. Absolutely perfect.

A lovely property which was very good for us re the location as we both have mobility problems

The property was close to the bus station, train station and easy walking distance to the town. The outside area was useful and the shower facilities excellent. The property was very tastefully decorated.

There were two entrances to the property, one of which was not in use. This proved to be rather confusing but with the help of the owner we managed to find the key eventually.

Fur coat and no knickers

This is advertised as a ground floor apartment but was accessed by several steps and no hand rails which for disabled people like ourselves proved incredibly difficult to access and egress There was building work going on in the apartment above so we were woken up at 8am by hammer drills and electric saws and knocking nails in which is no restful vacation , spent the majority of our time out so as to avoid the noise, having since read previous comments from April this work seems to be ongoing The rubbish from the building work is stored beside the apartment and this also included a dead decaying seagull The accommodation itself is worth the money but everything else detracts from it dramatically and the constant bombardment of messages from host and stay is totally over the top If you have any form of disability problems this is not for you !!!!

Almost perfect

Very clean and tidy loved the toiletries and the shower was amazing. Good quality cutlery and tea towels and towels

We hated the talking television and thought there should have been more instructions for all the electrical appliances. Even when we e mailed for help with the heating the response was what was already in the details we had and couldn't understand also there was no tumble dryer which was listed and the outside lights did not work should have a light near the steps. Needs a full length mirror
