Host & Stay - Threadneedle Cottage

Great location! Beautifully decorated. 😍 Modern facilities and appliances. Strong WiFi signal. Shower 🚿 was nice and powerful.

Sofas in the lounge we're terribly uncomfortable. The attic room is 2 twin beds pushed together. We were a couple, so this wasn't ideal. The accommodation hadn't been hoovered. Bits everywhere on stairs and in bedrooms. So had to hoover myself.

The Location was excellent. The bedding and bathrooms were nice and clean as was, the kitchen and living room.

The approach to the cottage is through a small alley which was very dirty from irresponsible dog owners not picking up their dogs poo also bird droppings and pee. The whole alley needs a good swilling out. The smell of dogs as you walked into the front door. The tight winding stairs were in our opinion quite dangerous. The landing to both staircases really need a safety guard. There was a yellow stain on 1st floor bedroom carpet which was still wet, I think previous guests had a dog, which must have pee'd and the cleaning team had missed it.

Location is good. House was clean. No working door handles on bathroom or bedroom on first floor. Not enough glasses for four guests. No hooks for towels on second floor. No mirrors for ladies. Spend £50 and this could all be made good. It’d be worth it!

Central, middle floor bedroom cosy and comfortable.

Attic bed so very uncomfortable. Two bad nights sleep, could feel the springs in the mattress, dreadful. Some crockery unclean, wine glasses and cups were poor/limited. Paint flaked off the wall on the stairs when you walked past and some areas need replacing/painting.
